GD, sounds like you've just about made your mind up about the new job... You don't seem to look forward to it these days... But you're obviously really, really good at it! (Not that that helps, if you don't enjoy it.)

Good morning family! I'm back at the office today, after our fun meeting in Cleveland and an extra day off at home to sleep :-)
It was delightful to meet Vicki and Greg, Andy and Jen, Jimmi and Jen. Bobby was there with us, and so were Tansey and Hermes!
ACCK, the university is asking us to please not bring in food treats to share, so we don't risk passing on H1N1. MY GOD! What do I do with this bag of black jelly beans I bought at Malley's? (lol)
What's next? Body condoms to work in? Madness I tell you, simply madness.

Mmm. Big texas breakfast eh? Bet the omelettes are bigger in Texas too, so I'll have one of those, with cheese and sausage, and a BIG mimosa to get rid of the blues over not sharing goodies in the department (lol).
It's funny... half my coworkers here adore black jelly beans.
When I was at Malley's, I got my husband a half pound of truffles (irish cream and key lime). I got myself some orange creams and maple creams, and some dark chocolate truffles and dark chocolate/strawberry ones. Num yummy. I'm trying to restrict myself to one or two pieces of chocolate a day.

I agree AZ... and every year the university hosts a nice holiday party with catered yummies. Bet that doesn't happen this year...and here at the library we have a BIG holiday party with lots of food. Ah well...better for the waistline I suppose, but awful for morale.

Good morning, TDKers!! You want a real Texas breakfast? Well, you can't forget the grits (garlic/cheese grits are the best!), biscuits with sausage gravy, seasoned potatoes, breakfast burritos (with chorizo instead of that wimpy regular sausage), bacon (for HM), and, of course, sweet tea. I can't wait until tomorrow!!!!

Hi all, I'm so tired and I so don't want to be here! You're right, Jcat, I don't like this job. The other day playing tennis with my friends really reminded me how fun it was to have time for friends, tennis, etc. I think I'll ask EBL tomorrow if there's still a chance I can get the morning shift. If I can, I think I'll quit two weeks from tomorrow when it's payday. It's not worth the extra money to be miserable and tired everyday.

GD, when I got to work this morning Melanie Oudin was on our air being interviewed, which means she's here in the building. I would try to snag you an autograph, but that sort of thing is super verboten :0 Did you see that Federer introduced himself to her? Unfortunately, all the attention she's getting means that some idjit went and dug up dirt on her parents' divorce, which is just nosy and mean.
I wanna go home and curl up on the couch with Georgie! Either that or teleport myself to Austin for the meetup (decisions, decisions).
