  1. ~~ It's Terry here on Mary's pc. Please keep the prayers going. One minute she is okay and the next she is mad at the world again. As I write this she is cussing out her animals for being so difficult while she is trying to feed them. They must understand because her yelling isn't getting to them. I am going down to am/pm to get some beer or hopefully something stronger to try to calm her down a bit. ~~

Terry, thanks so much for being the person to help Mary get through this tough time. And thanks for letting us know how things are going so that we may send her our "famous white light" of healing and caring.

  10. Hey everybody. Thanks once again for all the prayers and kind thoughts. I am feeling better this morning. I could still strangle Terry for bringing all the drama here, but I am grateful that he kept me from strangling my roommate last night. And whatever it was that he brought me to drink did help - I totally crashed and slept like a baby last night. I don't even know what time he left. All I remember is laying down on the air mattress in the living room to watch some TV, and next thing I knew I was waking up to my alarm clock.

Only problem is that I am so tired this morning that I can barely see straight. Now I just have to try to wake up enough to get to work, and then find the energy to go to lunch with my aunt after work.

  11. Hey, Mary, get the recipe from Terry---we all sometimes could use something to get us to sleep! Glad you are feeling better. Of course it's the ones we care about most who can hurt us the most---that's life. I think it's wonderful how the people on this site always care about each other--I feel blessed to be a part of it!

  12. OW, don't be upset that Terri posted. He was scared and worried about you. This is one major support group who loves and cares about you immensely. If you hurt, we hurt. I am the same way, when something goes wrong I want to hide and shut out the world. But in reality what I need is a friend (or a website full) to pull me thru. Don't feel bad or embarrassed or mad, its ok and we send much healing white light in your direction. Hang in there and don't be afraid to come here to post, vent or just talk. Take care of you! Hugs!!!

  20. I don't usually read these kinds of posts but I am brand new to The Daily Kitten and so I am checking everything out - just a comment about something Mary said and it was this: "It seems sometimes that those I feel closest to in my life are the ones who turn on me at a moments notice. Let them sweat it out when they have no idea where I've gone...." This is a dangerous attitude. As for myself, I try, as much as possible, to let someone know where I am at all times. We live in a dangerous world and sometimes a matter of a few minutes can be the difference between life and death. A couple years back, a high school girl, who lives in my area, went to a library at night to return a book in the outside book drop. She was on her cell phone at the time she was attacked, dragged from her car and brutally beaten. She survived but cannot speak or hear and will probably never be like she use to be. The cell phone did not shut off and the concerned friend called the police right away. They arrived within 20 minutes and found her brutalized body behind behind the libray. If they had not gotten there so quickly, they say she would have died for sure. It is not wise to go anywhere and not let others, who care about you, know where you are going.
