Having experienced genuine Texan bbq food yesterday (good!), Lisa took Emma & I to another fabulous Austin restaurant for lunch today, where I discovered...CORN BREAD!!!!!!! Wow, that is GOOD :o) Allowing a short spell to dodge the worst of the weather (the English weather CM ordered for Cleveland has followed me to Austin!), we then went, at my request, to a Real American Shopping Mall (yes, I know I'm sad). Where I bought a couple of knick knacks, and a pair of jeans with just a leetle more room in them than the ones I bought with me...tomorrow we're going to find me a cheap second suitcase, because what with the presents I have been given and the dum dums I have for Chris, I am already over the max weight limit for my checked bag, with very little room in my carry on!
Tonight we were at Puddytat's daughter's (Abbey - Black&WhiteKittyMama) and her husband Jason for a wonderful home cooked meal, and a personal audience with George, Nicky and Nora who are all totally gorgeous! I am now soooooo full of food I can't tell you!!!
