   Well littermates, Cheri helped Velvet make the journey tonight. While I won't go into details, Velvet let Cheri know that it was time. Cheri should be able to post herself Monday afternoon, but she asked if I could let you know. I cry as I type tonight. I got very close to Velvet while she was here as many of you know and I will miss her always. Even more so as I was hoping to pay a visit and life dictated other plans.

   But as I told Cheri, she became family here! That ment that she had lots of family to meet and greet her. No doubt Snowman has already shown her the nippy fields and the butterfly ranch! Zoo Crew bonds live long and strong! Velvet lived a long happy life filled with lots of love and a loving servant like Cheri!

   Cheri, I'm so sorry Velvet has crossed the bridge.. You took wonderful care of her for so many years. I'm here in Orange County for the meetup with MCW tomorrow. I'm sharing a room with 2P and SMM. All of us send our love to you and many hugs.

    Cheri, I'm so sorry for the loss of your beloved Velvet. She certainly did live a long and wonderful life with you. Deb, I know you are hurting too - it's amazing how fast we get attached to them. I also feel bad for Spice, who will be missing her friend I'm sure.

    I am so sorry to hear about Velvet--Cheri, you did everything you could for her and she had a wonderful, long life with you. And, Deb, you took wonderful care of her, too, in Cheri's absense and grew to love her too. I hope both of you find some comfort in knowing she is playing and watching over you both at the Bridge.

    Oh, Cheri, I am so sorry to hear about Velvet's passing. I lit a candle for her, but I know her own lovely personality will light her way better than anything else.     Cheri, I'm so very very sorry. I loved Velvet; she was a beautiful kitty and I am honored to witness first-hand the loving bond you shared. She was your soulmate. Extra cuddles to Spice from Auntie Joan.
    Leela was playing and suddenly pawsed for a moment of silence. She is so thankful to have known Velvet, and loved Velvet's patience when Leela asked endlessly to tell her stories.
    Deb, you are an angel. This is a tremendous loss for you as well, and my sincere condolences to you.

    Cheri, I am crying as I read this post. So sorry to read that your baby has crossed to the bridge. I know for certain my dad was there to greet her, he was a big softie when it came to cats. May you and Spice find peace in your hearts and know that you did all you could for Velvet and she will never really leave you.     Dear Cheri, I know this will be a hard time for you, and for Deb. Velvet was a fighter, and you fought by her side for so long. You will miss her deeply, but I hope you can soon find peace in your heart. Sending up a prayer for your comfort and Velvet's safe arrival at the heavenly refuge where all our other cats are waiting. Big Bob is there to protect her.
