Funny how our cats can come to "their own truce"!..... I laugh everytime I see the girls "negotiate" their territory!.... in the mountains, Cuddles was coming into a place, where Abby had been established for quite a while!.... she claimed her spot, but didn't infringe on any of Abby's favorite ones, and Abby conceeded a room she never goes in to Cuddles, so things worked out well.... now, in our new Tampa house, they were both new, so each has "claimed" their territory - Cuddles of course, Daughter's room (since it smelled like and contained her hoomans' stuff) and Abby my & Hubbs room.... Son's room is fair game, and the rest of the house is here simiply to serve their purpose!.....

GD, still having weepy moments, just about anything can make the tears come right about now. I am sure it will get better and I know its a process, just not used to this. When my father died it was different, didn't really know him well except thru letters and the occasional phone call....much different with my Mother, she was and is very close with me.
