Sounds like a wonderful sign Joan!!! Susie, I too would be upset that they let one person buy all of the 2 or 1's. Those are my kitties favorite treat as well and I just saw the 2 for 1's 2 days ago and there was 3 left in the entire store..Yes I took all 3 but I know they must have had shelves full of them at some point.

Joan...Thank You for your added hope. I've needed it since Hissy hasn't been home to eat since yesterday morning. She desperately needs those meds in her because some of her wounds were still bloody as of then. Naughtyboy keeps coming to me crying. I know he wants me to do more to help her but,I can't if she doesn't come out from hiding & eat. I can only latch onto to all your Prayers & good thoughts & hope your dream was of reality & that she is going to be okay.

I sure Love you guys! I don't know what is more stressful right now...Ms.Hissy being so injured or putting up w/Mr.Useless. I'm only one person. I can deal w/alot Physically even tho I'm having problems but,emotionally,too much is being laid on me. Useless is a completely basket of nothing but negative & he's sitting in judgement of everyone & everything.And he's been playing this role far too long & I'm fed up w/the fact that he won't change anything that will help him & won't listen to any reason. He wants to be the victim all the time. He's now frightening the cats here once again. All I can do is ask him how it feels to put so much fear into a helpless,innocent victim? Each tyraid he has undoes the calm I put into them. So now, I'm a basket case.
I just spotted Hissy outside. I don't think she ate enuf tho. I can only hope she returns to eat the rest before it spoils out there. -
Susie, I am so sorry Ms. Hissy is hurt. You are both in my prayers and loads of healing white light heading your way.

Feral, I know this is easier said than done, but when the negative emotions surface, please try to think of your loving TDK family and the virtual fluffy blanket that hugs you and truly cares for you. I will not compare my problems with yours, but the thought alone does ease the pain, if only just a bit.

Good visual, Joan. Sending more healing prayers that Ms. Hissy heals and gets better. It is good that you let Mr. Useless know that his scaring the cats because he doesn't feel good isn't right or acceptible as they didn't do anything to cause this and they give so much love. If the trio is still living in his room, you should remove them if possible to your room. I truly hope you will reach out to the various agencies in your area to get some help and that you try contacting the local feral groups to see about relocating your group. You need to get out of your toxic situation and it is obvious nothing is going to change until you change it. Your cleaning out things is step in the right direction but now you need to take more steps.
Hugs to you Susie. I really hope you can get out of your situation.

Susie..It's a good sign too that Ms. Hissy is still coming around for some food. Her instincts are strong and in tact. That's a very positive sign for you to hold onto. Keep doing what you can for her. It is limited but you have to believe that all our love and prayers for Ms. Hissy and your antibiotics will be enough to heal her. I'm even praying for Useless to have a change of heart...it's worth a try. {{{Susie}}}

Thanks everyone. I'm beat. Just got thru vacuuming 2 rms. & there's so much hair(even w/grooming them),that it took me 2 hrs. to do those 2. It sounds awful,but,I'm really not a slob...just 1 of me & so far behind.
SMM...As God is my witness,I've checked into everywhere,around & beyond for help to relocate my (at least the senior)kits.I even called & talked to the woman who owns Cat House on the Kings. All booked up,probably till I'm a senior. Also checked w/a place in S.F. that gives elderly a furever home. Booked up.
The only place I didn't recheck was the place You & I took my 1st batch of rescue babies to. I felt sooooo guilty(& still do), like I was dumping on them. They were already overwhelmed. I still cry from missing Singer,Thumper & Spider. Worse yet, I never was able to find out if Singer ever got adopted. I know her boys did.
Since Hissy is Singer's mom as well,I feel that much worse that she is hurt out there. -
Please don't feel guilty about asking for help for your kits (and you), Susie. That's what these caring agencies are there for. You've done such a great job by turning off the faucet of new litters by getting the ferals in your area spayed/neutered. I'm so proud of all you've done.
I was so happy to finally speak to you on the phone on Sunday. The TDKers in Austin and Irvine have a small gift on the way to you as a way of including you in those meetups. You will understand when you see it. lol Be checking your mail. :)

I am sorry to hear you are being overwhelemed. And as far as I am concerned let the A$$ threaten all he wants get those babies adopted if you can even HIS Misty though he does not care for her needs. Do what you must and if you must leave it all behind and just pray for the best to happen. All you cna do you are doing even the famous Feral who caugt the infamous Hopper and Ms. Hissy cna't do everything. It is time to see to you and place the babies you can in a good home.
Prayers will be sent for you and your babies.

Thank You for your good thoughts & understanding. Only other fellow animal lovers would understand the worry we all have for our furbabies...even the feral ones. Hissy allowed me to get a tad bit closer last night but,it was too dark to catch a good look at her wounds. The 2 lrg.ones on her neck are too buried in the fold of her neck to see them. Her forehead & ears are starting to dry(the blood,that is). Sadly,that beautiful Snowshoe Siamese is going to have permanantly shredded ears on the sides.
And it looks like I'm going to have to take out my other Humane trap & catch a possum that is clearly interfering w/their food(I don't think the possum is what attacked her). This guy was living on the front porch until he got too big to fit under the cart out there. I'll have to move it to a better place to feed.KW...what have you & the other littermates done? I'll watch my mail like a giddy child.
Have I told you all how much I love you? :)
BTW...I have very few pics of her before Karin & I took them to their new rescue...the pic in my avatar is of my sweetie Singer aka Runt. She was the mama to the 2 fellas Thumper & Spider(in my avatar before). You can see the white heart on her belly. Boy was she a singer.

Are you kidding? You ALL have Hearts of Gold Julie! And SMM came close to taking Singer home w/her but, Singer was just to fearful of anyone but me at that time. She also use to sleep just like her boy Thumper,on her back in my arms. I know it's hard to see but, she always did what I called the bunny paw fold w/her front legs. I also miss her singing...something she definately didn't get from her mama Hissy. Hopper's a real talker,so she probably got it from him. :)

He's turned into a complete Lovebug! I don't believe it myself. He does complete face-smooshes w/me when I lay on the couch w/him. I've never had a feral from the streets adapt like that. He's no doubt different & I wonder if him being an orangie has anything to do w/it?

Susie, of course Hopper being an orangie has everything to do with it! Orangies are the best headbonking love bugs there are! Nothing compares to the love they show!

Susie, I am sorry that I didn't adopt out Singer. I should have and I do regret that as she sounds like after a lot of patience, she might have been a very loving cat with me and Sylvester. Keep checking with Susan or Courtney and they might know if she got adopted or is still there. It is my understanding that the unadoptables end up living there or with a foster. They don't abandon any cat they have to another shelter.
I hope Ms. Hissy is healing and will let you come a bit closer to her today. It is suppose to be warm again this weekend with 80 in my area which I am guessing to be around 100-105 in your area. Take care and know I worry about you and wish I could do more. If I can ever win that dall garn lotto!

Corzak...Thank You for asking...Ms.Hissy finally came back to eat again this morning (she hadn't been home since Wed.). Some of her upper facial & ear wounds are drying up. She seemed wobbly & weak tho in her upper front leg area. I tried going closer to her but,she got in her take-off stance,so I backed off. She's getting the meds from the food tho.
As for me...I'm all over the place emotionally. Big blow-up w/Useless yesterday,he said he'd be back last night & didn't show up. I'm so tired from not sleeping night after night that I took something too strong & overmedicated myself & overslept. Now this morning,I can't think clearly enuf to get any sort of work done,altho,my work here is always endless. I wish I could run off & go camping like Useless does all the time.
Anyways...all I can do is hope Hissy will be alright. There's nothing more I can do. -
Still praying for you and Hissy!!! Susie don't worry about oversleeping, you need your rest...And you must try to look at things from the best view possible...for instance, since he is useless...then be glad when he is at least not in your way!!! Hissy is still showing up, so the meds must be helping her, continue with what you need to do for yourself and your kitties and don't worry about those who don't see it your way!! You know you can call me anytime!!!

Please...if you could keep the PRAYERS coming for Ms.Hissy,she needs them now more than ever before. I got a better look at her this morning thru the binoculars & was able to get about 10 ft. from her. She was more seriously wounded on her neck than I previously thought. I know it's a long shot but, I'm going to set up the lrg. dog cage out back that I originally trapped her in & just leave it sittng with food & water in it. If Naughtyboy uses it like he did the first time,I may get lucky & she'll start using it as well. She clearly needs more medicinal help than what I've been able to get in her. She's here 1 day & gone 2. I'm just beside myself w/worry & fear. I just hope she's not in alot of pain. She doesn't deserve it.
Thank You for all caring words. Hissy would Thank You too,if she could people talk.
