Well this morning...45 minutes actually, Maddie has her first dentist appt!
I told her he will count her teeth, and she seems excited. We love our dentist and the whole staff, they are like family to us, so I really like that, it will make it so much easier with her.
Wayne is coming to since I have to get my teeth cleaned and someone has to watch the girls, then he goes to work. :)

Awwww, you are the first person I've met who has ever said they love their dentist! That's got to be good. Tell Miss Maddie that the dentist is where the tooth fairies live, tee hee.

awww, that's so cute CM, I remember when my kids had their first dental check ups, the dentist had this giant tooth guy in his office - terrified my daughter!..... LOL

LOL @ all! I am a dentist's daughter so I never understood why people don't like the dentist! I guess I am biased. Good Luck Maddie, it will be fine.

How did it go CM?? I remember when I was little I knocked over the giant tooth in the dentist office which of course fell into many other things and made a huge mess..I think my dentist hated seeing me as much as I did him...LOL

It went well..she got up on the chair with no problem and let Juliann count her teeth..then she said All Done...she wouldn't let her polish them or anything but Juliann said she did awesome, better than most kids her age. So I guess it went well. As I was getting my teeth cleaned, Maddie kept telling me, you're doing good Mommy. She got to leave there with a bouncy ball, a sticker and a new toothbrush. She was happy.

Hey Maddie...would you like to meet my Dentist? I'm paying her a visit this afternoon. She could be a great role model if you are prone to peering at peeps teeth all day!

i really like my dentist he is very nice and apprachable.. and he's cute !! so while he's drilling i am looking up into his big blue eyes... ahhh how i love going to the dentist... i am expecting a cavity anyday now..lol.... unfortuately i haven't had cavities in a long time... i am a crazy brusher and flosser... your dad would be proud of me amy....

Very proud of our little Maddie !!!

I just had 2 fillings last month. First time in many many years. Not all that bad of an experience. Other than the assistent sticking the cotton swab with the anesthestic on the wrong side ! Oops.

She would go with anyone of you and help you through the dentist visit :)
We so love our dentist. We have been going to him for years. He's a few years older than we are and the whole office gave us gifts when we got married and when we had the girls, it was like they had them too. His wife is one of the dental hygenists(sp) too. They were all holding Abbie and couldn't believe how big the girls got.

Let me see if I can afford to fly little Maddie out for my next appointment..Sadly it's only because I'm a chicken. I have a great dentist and when I told him I was a chicken he told me chicken don't have any teeth!! YIKES!!! but he and his sister are in practice together and are very, very good.
