  1. My littermates. I just was able to get a few pictures of my beloved Eric through email. I wanted everyone to see the man they have had in there thoughts and prayers up until his recent passing on Sept 4th. Today was a hard day. I went up with my second mom to help bro pack up and put Eric's treasured items in storeage and to help donate all his clothing and shoes to Saint Anthony's in San Francisco. i did what had to be done and to help make it easier for my brother. But in the long run it tore me up. Knowing it would be the last time I would see any of his clothes and his belongings in his home. the hardest part was knowing it was the last time I would see his home and he wasn't there. Today I also found out form brother Eric's body is being kept in the hospital morgue and will be there up to 6 months because they have no blood family to release his body too. I have a few things my brother gave me to remind me of Eric th emost important one being Juwanna Man the lion I won for him at Great America. That lion has been with him for over a year and was the only stuffy he had in his apartment after his move from the other location. I am thinking of leaving him in my car as a memory and a guardian to wathc over me while I drive.

    Enjoy the photos.

    Love,

    Angie

  16. Thank you, Ange, for giving us the privilege of praying for and getting to know Eric through you. How heartbreaking that he had to leave this earth so young and with so much yet to give and live. I know that he is an angel watching over your family now, the family that loved him and was there for him, right till the end.

  22. Which one's Eric and which one's Michael? They seem to carry two different labels.

  23. Eric is the handsome dark chocolate one Vicki! My bro's the somewhat pastey white one with what looks sorta like a mohawk ehheh!

  24. I feel horrible! I still haven't been able to call my sister and catch her to tell her of Eric's passing! I have either not gotten her in person or had a chance to call. This is not news to leave a message about! Sigh!

Then I have to figure out how to get the 3 stuffies up there for the eldest girls and Jenny from Eric's place that Michael gave me!

    Well back to work!

  26. Great pics Ange! I love the one with Michael and Eric sitting at the table with a teeny grin. They look happy and peaceful....surely, better times. It breaks my heart that Eric has no family to claim his body from the morgue. That's soooo sad. I love that you will take Eric's stuffy Lion to watch over you in your car. I feel better knowing you'll have that wee guardian to keep you safe. (((Ange)))

  27. As far as I'm concerned, "blood" means nothing.

I don't want to ask anything that will cause you more pain, Angie, but what is going to happen to Eric after 6 months?

Posted 6 months ago by Leeny #

  28. Leeny supposedly then the government will see to his cremation or burial!

  29. Well calle dmy sister today and finally got her. Gave her the news of Eric's passing! Just found out today that if Eric's bank account has at least 750 bucks in it they will crem ate him instead of keeping him on ice for 6 months. But the horrible thing is, they wont let us have his ashes once it's done he will jsut be placed in storage so to speak until blood kin will come and claim him. My brother if he can show proof of them being significant others whiel all this was going on they would give him his ashes. Okay but the kicker is once he shows proof then the hospital can force my brother to pay for all the medical expenses of his hospital stay and needs. So bro can't do that becuase he himself is on unemployment at the moment.

And they kept asking for all Eric's vauluable sthat they could come get like jewelry and electronics and furniture to auction off to help pay some of the bills. Eric lived the simple life and his most prized possessions were his cds. michael will not give those to them. he offered his bed and linens and clothes and they declined but they did keep askign about jewelry and such!

  30. Sorry your having to go thru that. The term cold storage just makes me shudder. That's just awful that you can't have closure for Eric. {{{HUGS}}} to you & your brother Ange.
