   Hi - I'm new to the forums, although I've been a TDK fan for quite awhile. I'm a sucker for cute kitten pictures. Awwwwww.

   I am owned by two orange kitties, Tigerlily and Firefly. They are (literally!) alley cats; born in a back alley to a feral mama cat. I adopted the two girls in the litter and a friend adopted the two boys. Mama cat was eventually persuaded indoors, too.

   I still think of my two girls as kittens, but they are actually 14 years old. They've given me quite an education in how to accustom a feral kitty to indoor life. It required patience but was also a lot of fun.

   Welcome SC!!! How wonderful to have 2 orange girls!!! I have 3 furbabies, and all but BooBoo were born feral. BooBoo is 15 yrs old and I think of her as a kitten often too. Do you have pictures of your girls??

    Thanks for all the welcomes!!! You got me purring. Right now I'm working on getting my old computer to talk to my new computer so I can share some pictures. The pics are on the old computer; the internet is on the new one. Tigerlily is "helping". As far as she is concerned, whenever I sit with my hands on a keyboard, it means I need 15 pounds of orange purring goodness draped across my arms. Meanwhile, her sister is facinated by the computer cords. I have to keep throwing toys to distract her from all the electrified "strings".

    Welcome SC.. where do you hail from? My current eldest (of 6) is Rasputin who is 13. The baby Smidgeon is just over 2 and she is slowly getting past being feral. The last two days have not been a help with being caught and stuffed into a carrier to evacuate and then return home.

    Hi, SC, welcome to TDK, there are a bunch of wonderful people here, with beautiful kitties :) I love orangies! I have two kitties, Jasper, who is a big old podgy lovebug (though grumpy at times) and Libs, who was a feral kitten. They are both rescues and they rule the roost!

    Awww, I love your orangie duo; Firefly and Tigerlily are adorable! I missed your intro too. I'm owned by a little black cat named Leela - she's about 1 1/2 years old. Prior to this new generation, I was owned by Shaddo and Jiggs, who I referred to as "the boys" all their lives, and they stuck around well into their teens.

    Welcome! Here at work, to transfer info from one computer to another, they use the small SanDisk flash drives. Put the data from the old on the drive, then transfer from the drive to the new one.

    I also missed your introduction, but send you a belated welcome, SC! I sent your kitties some treats on Catster as well as "fur-end" invites. I love orange kitties, and yours are so beautiful! We lost our orange baby, Redford, last July-he was 18 yrs old. That is his picture in my avatar. We also have Mitzi Mayhem, our gray tabby-she is 16 yrs and rules our house with velvet paws! Again, welcome aboard-we are so glad to have you here!
