   Well I heard kittehs meowing something fierce!!! Where are the hoomins!

   So the doors are open and the tropical breezes are blowing the smell of a slow roasted pig in a pit out the door. The tables are ladden with all sorts of delicious vegetables and fruits--especially tropical fruit! The mango is to die for! The chocolate fondue fountains are flowing and the bowls of strawberries are over flowing! Dig in and enjoy as the kittehs look for laps and love.

   Pull up a chair and share your day, whether it is almost ending or just beginning....

   Kittehs are all here shhhhhh Don't tell the mgt! :) They are all getting along well. I have the 4 stooges, Bob (my avatar) and the 3 boys, Ben Jerry and Mojo.

   I grade over 100 papers on a daily basis. Tomorrow they have a test. On Friday they have their first cold write essay. I am really praying that they do well on the cold write. I am not allowed to teach them how to write an essay yet, thus the term cold write. I have worked on parts of speech, pronoun/antecedent, sentence/sentence fragments, sentence variety, and paragraph answers to a short essay question. The amount of work is overwhelming. The only light right now is Mock Trial. I handed them the case today. Child abduction, grand theft, and self incrimination--full of 5th and 14th amendment issues.

    I am so glad they are with you MerD!

    It is a great case KW. I like the self incrimination part--lightbulbs are not going off yet, so I have to wait and see.

    I am really tired. I have to read a book and write a paper for class so I am going to take the book and head to bed. Hope to stay awake to finish it!

    wow sm that sounds so interesting.. i loved those things when i was in school ... many years ago..lol... i just got back from my pelvic ultrasound, i knew the ultrasound tech from work and she told me it all looked good... we'll see what the radiologist says..so i am sure the pain is from my intestines... i need to get to the GI soon.. still having alot of pain .. but this is one area ruled out .. any word for amy?? i am worried about her and her sister and little wilma. i am also worried about willow kitty being sick... you are all in my prayers tonight.....

    i'll take a kit for cuddling and some mango...

    HRH just wandered in and wove herself around my legs. Her way of asking me to take the cover off her food dish. She finished all her food, drank all her milk and totally ignored the tuna treats I bought her. I guess Ruby & Lucky will be getting the treats.

    Yes, it sounds like she is. The cats are settling in and tolerating each other. She had Lucky cuddled up on her lap when I was talking to her last night, then of course Ruby wanted her turn too. I think Lucky is pleased to see his "Daddy" on the weekends for a bit of 'man' time.

    It was fun staying with Airy and J-man in their place. (Except for the shooting a block or so away!) Airy is a delightful young woman and she and J-man are devoted to one another. :)

    I was having a video chat with Airy about an hour ago and J-man walks in the door with a bouquet of flowers for her. No reason, just because he felt like it. Awwwwwwwwwwwwwww, I think our girls 2 men should give Mr MS lessons in being romantic. He seems to have forgotten. Ohhhh, that implies he knew in the first place! Thank you for the compliment KW. Yes, the shooting was very sad.
    Heading out into the garden now to pull out any weeds that have dared show their heads. Back on NS later.

    Today the only planting I did was 6 cheddar cauliflower. They are a wonderful cheese coloured cauliflower. I weeded and watered, the gardens were very dry. It's going to rain tomorrow apparently. Typical!
