We here at TDK call it the kitties "Spa Day" tell Spaz he is going to the spa and it will help both of you through it. He will be just fine, and a little uncomfortable, but not in pain! Really!!!! By the next day Blackbeard was chasing BooBoo around the house at top speed! Yes you are doing what is best for him, but really it won't be that hard on him...It sounds like it's going to hurt you much more than him...{{{{HUGS}}}}

It's a quick procedure and he won't have pain. My cats think the worst part is taking their temperature--the other things they don't mind.

he's going to be neutered, i think its gunna hurt to get his manhood taken away

Yes, "spa days" always include neutering or spaying, but believe me--young kitties just take it in stride. It's actually worse on female kitties because there is more of an incision. But the little boys hardly notice a thing. He will be fine.

ok, i wanna get your opinion on something, im taking him to an animal aid center, is there something i need to look out for?

I've never heard it called exactly that--is it a low-cost center that;s part of a local shelter or vets office?

I know how your feeling Sweetamy. I took my boys in about a week ago and I think it may have been harder on my BF and I than it was for them. You are doing the right thing and your baby will be back to crazy in no time!! If it wasnt for my boys shaved bums you would never know they had anything done! It will all be ok and you know you have your TDK family if your stressed.

I understand that feeling, SA. He will be sedated, and being a resiliant kitten, it will be a distant memory in no time. Things like this are often tougher on humans than the kitties!

I took Izzy to the vet yesterday for her first checkup and vaccinations, she didn't like the car ride, but she absolutely LOVED the vet...well, until the vet told her she had a few ear mites and cleaned her ears, then she was an angry Izzy, but she got over it haha. She didn't even FEEL the vaccinations I don't think cause she never flinched, just kept right on purring and doing her happy paws :D
