Picked up Wilma at the vet's! She was so happy to see meowmy! She jumped out of the vet's arms and ran to me! She is so much spunkier and bright eyed. He said she ate about 1/4 can of cat food and used the box. She was going crazy at the vet's so he said she hadn't changed on the xray but she was eating and hadn't thrown up in over 24 hours. My sister is ok, not great. They stopped her bleeding but she still feels terrible. They wanted to wait on a hysterectomy to see if the cauterization worked. I don't think she is going to wait. Yes, FF has been great! He came last night to spend the evening with me and Betty since we were lonely. We went to dinner at a Martini Bar (didn't know we even HAD one here!) and had chocolate martini's! That made things easier. He was gonna go with me to pick up Wilma but his Bro-in-law called and he needed him to go to the airport to pick up his sister and niece. Thanks for all your prayers, hope we are over the worst of it!

Wilma is kinda mad (so I know she has her spunk back!) because I closed off all but three rooms for her to go into. The basement is off limits because I have to catch her everyday and give her a shot. I am not looking for her in the basement ceiling!

Yea!!!! Welcome home precious Wilma!!! We were so worried about you. It sounds like she is feeling better and happy to be home!! I am glad FF spent some time with you too. You needed that.
I hope that your sister does better and it all works out in the end.

She is getting continued shots of a kitty pepto bismol/antibiotic mix. The final diagnosis was a digestive tract obstruction. She never did pass anything that they are aware of but she showed all the signs plus it did show up on xray. Now it really isn't there. I saw the xrays myself. Its kinda weird.

Its the TDK Digestive Tract Obstruction beam at work! We blasted it into microscopic bits. Glad she is home and doing better.
PS. The beam also works on soaking up leaking brain fluid, MC. You wait and see at your next check-up.

Oh KK! I love that, I remember when you and Cheri got it into position! Though I must say FF says its still back there. He loves to feel it everytime he sees me. It fascinates him. May need to have another one of those treatments on my head. GREAT NEWS! Just caught Wilma drinking a LOT of water out of the water bowl! YAY!

So happy about Wilma!!!!! When i read your post about her being mad about not getting to the basement so she can get into the ceiling, I got this mental image of Wilma trying to be basement cat and ceiling cat all at the same time and almost snorted my tea!
I hope both Wilma and your sis return to perfect health! Hugs to your FF for taking you for chocolate martini's

KYKAT, I thought of you and WWM as they had double dirty martini's! It didn't say exactly what a double dirty martini was but I had an image of that martini that you had with the stuffed olives!

SO glad to hear Wilma is home and developing a drinking habit. But no chocolate martinis for her! Has Betty settled down now? Hurray for FF, too.

What a relief to hear that Wilma is home! I'll bet Betty is so happy to have her back where she belongs. I think all it took to make Wilma well was to leave her with the vet for the night. It scared the sh** out of her! All better!! Glad she didn't need surgery! I hope your sister won't need the hysterectomy and am praying the cauterization is all that's needed. Mmmmm...Choc. Martinis...sounds yummy! =)

Good news! Welcome home Wilma :o) Maybe she threw up the obstruction, but kept being sick because it aggravated her system.

Wilma is soooooooooo happy her fellow sick kitty might get to come home today too! She thinks home is a much better place to heal than the vets!
