She's eating the dry crunchies, I even went out and bought her baby food! She sniffed it and went to the crunchies bowl. She is drinking like she means it! I keep filling the water bowl!

I know you are not going to believe this, but, I can't find Wilma today! She only has four rooms to go into and I can't find her. My head is throbbing and I feel sick to my stomach so I am in no mood to move big furniture but she is no where to be found in the easy to look places (under the bed, etc). Pray she is ok!

MC...you & I both know she couldn't have gone far. If any of your furniture in the 4 rooms have lining in it,check in the lining. Mine have been good at camophlaging themselves in it. And it's amazing how a big cat can flatten themselves out to fit in anything. Wish I could be there for you. I would definately find Miss Wilma. No hiding cat is safe from me. :)
Maybe if you lay down for some rest,you'll wake up & find her out of hiding. Positive vibes being sent that she'll come out of hiding.
MC...it also sounds like you need to talk w/your doctor again. Your symptoms are making me nervous. {{{HUGS}}} that you feel better soon!

Thanks Feral, I will leave the door unlocked. You can sneak in and sneak UP on Wilma! I think she might just be behind the big old dresser (weighs a million lbs) in my bedroom or behind the couch. I have stopped looking hoping she will just "show up"

If it weren't for the distance between us,I would be there in a heartbeat to help find her. Just yesterday I had to hunt down my Lacy(she's already traumatized from her previous owner)after I had some vacuuming to do. She hates the sound.When it comes to hiding when scared...her spine melts & she becomes soluble to any crack or crevice.

I'm sure she'll show up, MC, so you just take care of yourself and prepare your lecture for Miss Wilma when she shows her face next.
(If it's any comfort, my Spook has only a handful of rooms she can go into, too, but I still manage to "lose" her at least once a day!)

I just worry about her since she was recently so sick and not yet at her best. I know she is here and Betty isn't helping me any. Kids! :{

She really is an expert at hiding away MC, isn't she? But by this stage, you know she is there, just having one of her 'I want to be alone' hours. I'm sure she's absolutely fine, it just seems to be Wilma's nature. As you say, she is behind that dresser or the couch, listening to you calling her. And she was fine when she hid after throwing up all night, so you may be certain she's fine now, when she's well-hydrated and has some food in her. I know it must be very difficult though - she really puts you through worry, that Wilma.

She sure does! She knows how to make her mom worry!
