A new cargiver arrived at the Rainbow Bridge today. I know that is where she has to be. You see it is my mother, she passed away this afternoon. I know for her heaven would be a place where she can play with and sguggle and cuddle as many kitties she could fit on her lap. So until we will be with our kitties waiting at the Rainbow Bridge take comefort in know my Mother will be there spoiling them all rotten.

I am so sorry to hear that your mother passed. {{{{{Athena}}}}} I know she is there right now. I hope my sweet Kiernan is on her lap purring at this very moment. She can now peacefully cuddle all the kitties and puppies she wants. I will pray for you in this time of pain and loss. Kitty kisses from my gang.

Thank you for all yor kind words, my daughter got home last evening. She was very close with her grandma. My cousins will all be arriving over the next day or two. She had went into the nursing home in January so it was quick. I do know she missed her kitties vey much, but I have them and they are adjusting. They miss there grandma and their "lap time"

The last week has been kind of a blur. But I have something I wanted to share. After my mothers funeral I took a vase of flowers to the nursing home she was in to give her roommate. I stopped at the desk and asked the nurses if it was ok to give her the flowers(not know if she maybe had allergies).
The nurses looked at me and turned pale white. I asked what was wrong? They said you don't know? your mothers roommate passed just a few hours after you left. When we left the nursing home she was sitting in the hallway scooting her wheelchair along down the hallway.
And from what I understand her roommate passed shortly after returning to her room. She also went to the same funeral home and was buried in the same cemetary. The roomate had no family no survivors her husband had passed years before. She was all alone.
My mother was an animal lover and had brought home her share of strays over the years. Even though both my mother and her roommate were confused most of the time I think they had made a closer bond then we think. I can' help but think my mother took one last stray home with her. -
