  2. no, I don't really have regular hours, I'm the manager.... however, the job is HUGE, so I've been leaving the house at 8am and not returning until 6:30-7pm every day!

  4. Oh my goodness! Hopefully the pay is good! I remember when I managed a local coffee chain and got salary. It wasn't worth it because I was working 12 hour days 5 days a week! I missed that over time!

  5. Aww thanks guys!..... and yes, the pay is good - sal + commish.... I wouldn't have taken the job if I wasn't getting what I wanted - they came after me.... I really hadn't thought about going back to work for someone other than myself!.... worst thing is, I need a MAKE OVER!!!!! and I absolutely HATE to shop for clothes!......

    ... good luck with moving MM, I'd rather have my toenails pulled out than pack up and move again..... 3 x this year for me!

  7. I've moved 4 times in the past year and thought that Florida was finally my home... And heck, it probably will be once I get my baby! Thank you so much.

    Anyways... Did you say makeover?!! I love makeovers. I'm totally in for a virtual online shopping and beautification extravaganza!

  9. Hmmmm.
    I'm a deal hunter, but recently I went to Macy's and found all kinds of great deals. They had all kinds of plain t-shirts that were long (great for layering) as well as long pants in all sizes. The tshirts were only 3 bucks a piece thanks to their fall sale (it ends this coming Friday, I think).
    I'm 6 foot and wear a size 5 pants, so I always have trouble finding clothes that fit.

  11. I'm not so scared of getting my teeth pulled as I am of the cost of getting my teeth pulled! My dentist is good and I trust him. I know my wisdom teeth are decayed as I've already broken a big piece off one - the dentist told me I can get an abcess any day from not having them pulled and it's eventually going to cost me more money to keep them.

    As for GG, he's going to Finland, but only for 10 days or so. He'll be gone next weekend, but I have a party to go to with some people from the gym, so that works out well.

  14. Wow, Finland! Next door to your home, GD...well in Denmark of course. AV, I bet it feels good to be home after not working out in the workforce a bit. Abby will be happy to have you home.

    MM, you are 6 foot and a size 5! Wow, the designers must like you. In a perfect world, I would be 5'8" and be a size 4 always no matter what I ate. Pipe dreams as I have never been that small except before puberty as I seemed to have hips that started out at a junior's size 7 when I was 14.

  17. Time to pull out the old t-shirt you wore and rub the kitties down, MC. Hmm..or break out the catnip if that will help.

    Hope GG has a fun and safe trip. My parents went to Sweden a couple of years ago and really enjoyed visiting there. I don't recall if they ever visited Finland or Denmark. My first female friend and I became friends when we were 4 years old and she was of Danish heritage. Both of her parents were immigrants from Denmark so she grew up speaking it fluently in their family and I would listen to them speak when I visited her sometimes. Sounds a little like German. I haven't seen her since I was 19 due to her being angry with me over my parents moving our family away and the fact that I didn't keep in touch with her (I was overwhelmed with life at that time and she didn't understand).

    Twenty minutes to go and I am counting down. I am tired and am wanting out of the office! Get that car started!!

  22. GG left for his kick ball game. He left me here with the biggest weirdo we have working out here. I was relieved when a friend of our walked in to work out!

    GG said he'll talk to me later - he's been sick most of the week and isn't sure he has the energy to do anything tonight, but if he doesn't, he says we'll do something tomorrow. I'm going to remind him that since I picked what to do last weekend, not it's his turn!

  28. Awwww. My boys don't cuddle, either! Sometimes I make them ;-)

    When Bobsky was between 6 months and a year, he was a little terror. - certainly no cuddling then. He settled down nicely, though. Isn't Ally about that age?
