Hulloooooo! Is anyone out there? Its 4am and I can't sleep. The girls have been fighting and hissing and slapping each other all night. I can't seem to get to sleep. Being that we have a smaller space to live in (I have shut off the basement for now) we cannot get along. Wilma wants to love Betty, Betty wants to have nothing to do with Wilma. I was cleaning the fish tank to find two dying goldfish in the back. So, I thought I would start an early Caturday Cafe. I figure things will be slow today so we just have pasteries and coffe/tea from Panera to grab and go. Gonna be a wonderful cool, sunny, late summer day. Have the windows open, ceiling fans on, and kitties who need love. Please stop in, say hello, let us know what is going on in your world today. Any ideas on how to get the girls to love each other again?

Oh definitely pictures are in order. The lady who made the costumes wants copies to keep in her book. We found some online but they were a tad bit too suggestive for work, so she made some less sexy. The girls are just awful, fighting like crazy! Wilma seems better, she ate a little dry crunchy cat food and drank some water. She slept next to me off and on all night until Betty would come to pick a fight!

awww Wilma..I hope she is on the road to recovery! She must really smell like VET! Poor baby. I hope the girls stop fighting soon.
I noticed that most of the costumes for girls/women are sexy...If you are over 18 great..but my young daughter is not going to go as a sexy cheerleader! Not to mention workplace things.

MS, we are chatting about our Halloween costumes. Yes, I tried the shirt that I sleep in to no avail. Still a lot of hissing and slapping going on. Poor Wilma wants to be buds with Betty again. Betty is just not happy about the way that Wilma smells (I think)

Poor Wilma, she has been through so much and now her sis doesn't want to cuddle her. And poor Betty, she has been so worried about Wilma and now she thinks a different kitty has come home. Kitties can be silly sometimes :( I am glad that Wilma can cuddle with you, MC, I take it she's forgiven her meowmy :)

Yes, its funny how upset they were without each other and now they want nothing to do with each other. Betty should know I brought the same kitty home. Plus, the basement is shut off and that really is making them unhappy. I really need Wilma close so I can keep an eye on her. I need to limit the area where she can go. I was encouraged by the fact that she did fight back and she did take a little kitty bath today. Betty is just pacing and meowing.

Jcat, it's chilly here too. Mr MS tried lighting the fire but it was a miserable little thing. At least it took the chill edge off the room. He has gone to bed as he has to head off to work at sparrow fart. i tucked a hot water bottle in with him and all I could hear was contented snoring as I left the room. HRH Shadz did something unusual tonight, she actually sat on my lap. Now I haven't always had a lap, but it's been there for the last year and tonight she wanted to sit on it. We had great cuddles. She's in her bean bag now all nice and warm, sqwooshed down deep into it.

Ahhhhhhhhh, Halloween.

Awwwww, little Shadz loves cuddling her meowmy. Libs is now coming onto my bed almost every night, about 3am, to get some tummy rubs and sleep by my head. She sometimes hops on and off again during the night, and she doesn't cuddle up to me, but at least she's on the bed. Perhaps they mellow as they get older, lol.

Shadz also comes onto the bed in the wee small hours but she curls up against my back. Nice and warm in winter but in summer I encourage her to sleep on Airy's bed. It probably won't take much encouragement this summer with Airy in the bed.Posted 2 years ago by Moonshadow_NZ #

Awww, Shadz will be rapt to have Airy home. Although she will probably ignore her for the first few days to teach her a lesson for having gone away in the first place ;-)
Jasper leans against my back or my legs, he is a heavy podge. I think that is why Libs sleeps by my pillow, so she is out of reach of Jasper's jealous swats. Also I turn the bedside light on for her -- it has an old fashioned bulb in it especially for her (the only one still in the house) -- I think she thinks it is her own private heatlamp. Doesn't much help Meowmy with her insomnia though, lol....
But I do love sleeping with my cats. I love it when we are all safe and cosy inside... and no mousebreath, tee hee.
