Nope..no sleeping here...got a cup of coffee and some toast and watching the Today show...got sucked in...
Abbie is now awake, so no naps here! It's after 7:30 anyway. My MIL is supposed to take Maddie this morning for the night so whee!!! Maddie doesn't know yet.
Last week she was supposed to but threw her knee out and couldn't walk, so Maddie couldn't stay over and was so upset. She loves her grandma!
Okay off to feed little miss Abigail :)

I'm heading off to fill my hot water bottle(didn't think I'd need it again this year)and into bed until sparrow fart. Goodnight all. MC I hope the girls settle down to an easy truce. Jcat, you tell Jasper to be more of a gentleman when it comes to how much of the bed he claims. I hope Libby doesn't have mouse breath. See you all tomorrow.

Nighty-night, MS, snuggle up tight and sweet dreams. I will tell Jasper to be more of a gentleman but he thinks nothing of swatting his meowmy on the bed so I don't think he will jib at swatting his little sister. I hope Libs doesn't have mousebreath too!
Have a lovely walk, MC, and hope the girls stop squabbling. Yay, sleepover at Grandma's, CM, what fun for all the girls in the family. Smoosh that little Miss Abigail and lil Miss Maddie for me too...

Aw darn, Did I miss my down under friends?..... MS? Jcat?....... hope you stay warm.... nice when they decide to be come "lap cats" isn't it, it took Abby until she was 3 yrs old, but for the past year, she has decided that when ever I sit down in my comfy chair to read or watch TV, she needs to be in my lap.... sometimes when I'm typing on the computer too!....
Morning all!.... CM, I love the idea of a lady pirate for Halloween!.... when mine were little, Bryan was 4 - he was "Captain Hook", and I made Jill (6 mos) Tinkerbell..... they actually won the costume contest at our church night supper that year!.... so cute!
... and MC, I think you need to be a lady FF this year!... LOL

Hi AV!!!! awww how cute for your kids...I love it.
Maddie was a pink panther her first halloween(she was 2 weeks old), then the cutest ladybug ever for her 2nd, last year a princess. She got to pick out her own costume this year and she wanted a pirate. She did want to be Belle from Beauty and the Beast at first but then once we got there wanted to be a pirate!
I have to find something really cute for Abbers.I can't believe that Maddie is turning 3 in a month. Her birthday is Oct 19 which is also our 8th wedding anniversary...my baby is getting older and it's awesome and sad at the same time :)

Congrats on the anniversary CM!..... I'm packing right now, we're leaving for UF for the Tennessee game shortly..... I've got to go clean two litter boxes and a bird cage right now..... I'll be back in a little while..... do you think the birds will mind that Abby will be "bird sitting" this weekend? LOL!

MC, can you give Wilma a bath, or would she beat you up too badly if you tried? If not, try the moist kitty wipes they sell at pet stores and wipe her off with those - give Betty a wipe-down, too, so they both smell the same.
I'm opening the gym this morning - 22 minutes down, 4 hrs. and 38 minutes to go :(
I think I'm going shopping after work. I need a birthday gift for my brother and something to wear for the fancy party next Saturday. Tonight I plan on hanging out with GG :) -

Betty and Wilma sound like Shaddo and Jiggs; when someone came back from the vet, the other ignored him for a while.

MC, the girls have settled in nicely! thank you for asking.... Cuddles immediately claimed her "bowl" (blanket) which we of course put in daughters room, and Abby found her donut bed, which is in my room, right next to our big bed, so she's happy. They both love the enclosed porch, which is where I keep their food bowls and litter boxes, and are pros at the cat flap that lets them in and out there. Abby is thrilled cause the birds are also on the porch, so she's "reacquainting" them with her observation habits!......
.. the pet wipes are a good idea, my hair dresser, believe it or not, sells a brand of dry 'pet shampoo' that you just rub in their fur - it's real easy and smells wonderful.... I think it's in the Paul Mitchell line......

Oh stop! Really?!? I am going to get my hair cut in about half an hour, will have to check if they have the pet shampoo. Glad the girls are enjoying life in their new home. I think the mountains did Cuddles some good! :)

XBF just called to tell me my Dan Brown book has arrived in the mail - yay! I hope to get some reading in this weekend, too.
I had a dream last night that Bobby refused to take his pill. I think I'm going to call the vet on Monday and discuss with him weaning Bobsky off the pheno. Now that I'm not working much, I think it's a good time, so I can keep an eye on him.

Good morning all! Everyone is up and the day is starting! Getting ready to do hair and makeup for daughter. She has a senior pictures photo shoot for 3.5 hours this morning. I have her outfits and we are about to head out. She is straightening her hair and then I can do makeup. She is having some done outside with Sherlock. Deuter pictures her dad will have to do. Deuter doesn't like strangers in his house. Deuter likes the fireplace so we are waiting for his picture this winter.

Hey all who came in since I last posted. I would love to send Leela to hang out with Betty. She is being a bit of a brat this morning and a social visit would be good for her. She just heard I'm sending her to you so she has suddenly calmed down, and having a few crunchies. She has her get-well card (that she made all by herself) for Wilma, and she's bringing a bunch of wildflowers for MC. As for Betty, she has a special surprise, she is bringing Larry so that they can play with him together. I don't think she's ever even considered bringing him out of the house, but since he's her "security-feel-good toy" she must feel it's appropriate!

Gaaaah!!!! I really thought I would have kicked this jet lag lark by now. Maybe the dozy making neck tablets aren't helping, but it's all really weird. I was awake for about two hours in the middle of the night, then totally unable to wake up this morning - I've literally only been up 2 hours. We were meant to be a friend's son's birthday party down south this weekend, but cried off yesterday. I just cannot wake up!!! Just as well you guys were worth it ;o)

Hi all.
Can I get a hug, or a kick in the butt? I bailed on the gym today because it felt supremely pointless, have a million things I *should* be doing and don't want to do any of them, and am generally feeling blah and frustrated. To make things worse, it's a beautiful day out, and I can't get motivated to get out into it.
ETA; sorry about the jet lag MCW. I'll be nice and not tell you how long I was jetlagged for the first time I hopped across the pond in your direction. It really sucks, doesn't it? Hope you feel perkier soon.

OMG, some stupid carpet cleaning company just started up their machinery right below my window in the courtyard! It is Sat and they started before 9 am! I left an emotionally charged voice message on the apt complex phone. The property mgr schedules them on freaking Sat morning! Thinking majorly unfluffy thoughts and just had a nice little tantrum in apartment. My poor cats. I am definitely moving when my lease is up come January. Oh they just stopped which means they did a crummy job as they normally take an hour to do and thankfully they only took half an hour.
Can I have a ginormous cup of mocha with a generous helping of baileys and kahlua. Now I look like a complete idiot and my poor cats are under my bed hiding. I think I need to go let off some steam and should make a trip upstairs to the little gym in my building. It has three machines which is an up right bike, a treadmill, and an eliptical.
Good morning to you all. I want to go back to bed now. Sorry you feel the blahs today Kilroy. I hope you recover soon from your jetlag MCW.
