Looks like things have significantly slowed down around here today. The NS kittehs are going to have pizza, salad, pasta, wings, and appetizers tonite for the night shift. There is a fully stocked bar along with non alcoholic drinks. The kittehs are gonna watch some old movies and wait for the hoomins to show up to snuggle with them. Please stop by, say hello, grab a snack and enjoy your evening! My neck is still killing me so I have no real plans for tonight, just working on re-uniting my girls! Windows are open to let in a cool breeze off of Lake Michigan as we watch the private sailboats go by. Nice! Happy Caturday!

Hey Hey MC! Me too alreayd had the pizza and salad for lunch hehehe! I have been craving martinilli apple juice or sparkling cider would be good hehehe.
I am wathcing SyFY with a movie on called the Dead One. Seems a car jsut eat/ killed two teen boys. 22 minute sinto the movie and 4 deaths, now that's a good movie hahahha!

hehehhe they have been doing very well. Until about 20 minutes ago when I had been busy max decided toi stop being cuddly with Mystie and bite her so he jsut did 20 in the playpen and then now he is confined in the bedroom with me while Mystie gets to run the house. Thanks for the sparkling cider! There butts are chilly they said hehehhe!

My neck still stinks. I did get the kitty wipes and Wilma loved it, she rolled over to get her belly "cleaned". Betty could have done without them, she let me get her head between her ears and she ran off. She won't come near me now. They haven't been in the same room all day. I pray that they sleep tonight! YAY! GG and GD going for a drink, that is nice. I think I might fall asleep tonight if I did, I took pain meds so I am in no shape for an adult beverage.

Hi everyone! It's been a looooong day for me 12-8. I don't usually work full 8 hour days. But now, with the exception of a short shift from 5-9 on Tuesday, I'm off until next Friday!
W0W! The weather here is beautiful! Nice mid-70's days and cool nights.

Hi MC, M2MC, GD & M&CM! I went to my Mom's place today for her birthday. Then did a bit of yardwork and read for a while before going inside. It was a beautiful day! Hubby wasn't hungry but I said I'd get dinner ready in a little while anyway because I didn't want to eat too late. Anyway, I woke up from the newly acquired swivel-rocker-recliner (Mom bought herself a new chair so we took her old one) over an hour later! Leela is amazing; she doesn't pester for food, in fact, she was napping in the other chair in the room!

Hi, All! We have been watching a movie for "Movie Night". But it was so weird!!! Cloverfield was the name and I think that I put it in our Netflix queue. Now I can't imagine why!!!!
I had to spend about an hour this afternoon with an ice bag on my knee :-( Stupid car......

Arghhh, my whole post just vanished.
I know there was a soup thread on here this week. Tonight at the marina we had soup dinner, everyone brought soup, rolls, etc. There must have been at least 20 different soups! Now, I am not a chowder lover, but I was convinced to try a chowder that was made by a new guy, who is a charter fisherman. It was outstanding (surprised me). He used freshly caught coho salmon. I wouldn't dare try it because I have a feeling the fresh fish makes a big difference in the taste.
Anyway, I am still full of soup and after a day on the water I am sleepy. I have a feeling that this was the last really warm weekend we will see here in Michigan for a long time. Off to bed I go.
