AV, the Austin meet-up was just wonderful. Even Mr. WWM is still talking about it. And then we went to San Antonio and spent the night with Kittymom and we had so much fun. Her father is so sweet and her Uncle Jack is a riot. We felt like we had known them for years. I love it when that happens! It was, in a word (MCW's word) a Brilliant Weekend!

I know I am disapointed that I didn't get to go to Texas to meet KM in May and do the King Tut exhibit. Instead I got to have brain surgery! Sure would have preferred the former!

OH, MC!!!! I didn't get to go, either. I would have loved to go. Happily, I did see the King Tut exhibit in NYC round about 1977. It was simply wonderful.
Well, I'm going to go and change clothes for our birthday dinner out. Birthdays suck but dinner out is at least nice!

LOL!.... I am detemined to go to a USA meet somewhere soon.... and I'll drag Dee with me if need be!.. LOL.... KK, I would LOVE to go back thru the King Tut exhibit with you, it was in my next door neighbor (St. Petersburg) a few years back, and I went with Son and MIL!.... we loved it!

We has an Egyptian exhibit here at our national museum Te Papa, last year - I think it was the King Tut one. MiniKK and I went along.
