theres like 8 inches a rain here my whole yard is flooded couple of trees down and theres atleast 1 mudslide that i know of but theres still having school i dont get that at all lol i mean i know our education is important but geez its too dangerous to go anywhere right now

oh when they cancel school because of rain here (which they did twice last year, once while we were in school so we could make it home) it has to be bad. one of the two main roads is under about 6 feet of water. the road I use to get to school was a river, okay half the roads in town were rivers.
the river overflowed so bad that you could go kayaking in the fields by it and not have to worry worry about any of the fence posts they were so far under water. i did go kayaking, it was fun.

how do you think it stays green enough to be called the evergreen state here lol!
actually it got that bad because the ground was frozen after a few feet of snow. it all the sudden got warm so all the snow in the cascades also started melting as well as the snow on the ground. the main river's water comes from the mountains so snow melts up there to fast and it is gonna flood.
of course it didn't help that it poured for a few days straight.
