please please help i think my kittens constipated

Hi can someone help me I think my 7 week old kitten is constipated and i'm really worried, i've read that it can be fatal, will he be ok till morning when i can get a vet? anyone got any advice, he's swollen up like a balloon and although he is still pooing he is straining, please help x

Sammy's Mum, see the hot tags (in pink) alongside the main index of chat threads? Click on constipation, you'll get a lot of threads with good advice. Also click on video (& select the thread helping the kitten to eliminate) if you & Sammy are still having problems, it shows a great technique for relieving young kittens. Our friends in the States will be up for a while yet so can give you further advice and support. Sammy will be fine!

try some canned pumpkin, but not pumpkin pie mix...
