I posted this on the other thread but thought I'd start a new one for those who've already posted on the other one and missed the photos. Mother Nature can be such a PITA!!!!

Thanks Karen I missed those on the other post! Are these the pics from Dragonwing?? If we can put in a pipeline from Alaska why can't they put in something like that for water? if it's not the midwest it's the north or south that gets flooded...we could water Death Valley and these poor people would have their homes floating away!
I know....Kind of eerie to see it. How ever can this house sell under these circumstances. I'm not sure if that is Paul's home or a neighbor's home. =(
Julie...I was just talking with Jeff about that this morning. It's so frustrating to see what happens to so many homes in flooding. All the lives affected, even lost with it all. Is it sooo impossible to build dams or channels for river run off in these flood states??? =(
That is terrible. Is Paul's house okay?

WWM he posted that he is okay and got out with the animals. My sister-in-law is one of the lucky ones with no flooding of the house. She hasn't broken out the canoe yet. Seems funny--not in a laughing manner but a peculiar one--that out west (Texas, New Mexico, Arizona) we are so dang dry and the East coast there is a flood. Prayers for those who are in danger, and those that have had to temporarily flee. May all be safe.
Thanks for those Karen and Dragonwing. I was looking at video last night of a road being undermined and disappearing somewhere near Atlanta, very scarey. I see the weather forecast isn't great for at least a week.

Yes...this sounds like it's going to get alot worse before it gets better. News reports of the Austell area are saying up to 500 homes are lost to these floods. Hope Paul's house is still sitting safely above water. It was when he left it to go to his daughter's home. =(
Here's a message I got from Paul...thought I'd share it!
Karen,
So far things are looking up. I made the first load of fur kids back home and everything seems to be working at the moment. I cleaned the compressor unit for the AC, replaced the filter and drained some water out of a couple of the ducts. Looks like I may have to replace the burner assembly on my hot water heater. I do have to make one more trip back to Doraville and get the other 3 cats including Lady who likes to hide...
Paul
Paul...Keeping you in my thoughts and prayers. Hugs 'n' Headbonks to you and the crew. Stay safe! Your area is just a real nightmare with more rain coming. Ugh!!! {{{Paul}}} {{{Crew}}} Be Good Little Lady!!!
