GD, hope weaning Bobby off works for him. No fun for him or you to have to take pills every 12 hours. Dorie, ouchiwawa is right! Nine stitches! Take care of your thumb. Gini, the visual of Feeny and Taco trying to do the scramble out of the tub without getting wet sounds hilarious. Poor wet kitties. Kilroy, Mia loves to chase the leaves too. When I get a stray one on my balcony, she gets so excited. Sylvester this morning started to wash Mia's head but stopped when he saw me watching. He hardly ever does this and I thought it was so cute. If they wash one another it becomes a wrestling and chasing match. I am hoping when it gets cooler out that I will find them both on the blanket that is on the loveseat.
The two washers that I wanted to use on Sunday are still broken as of last night. I went and asked about them and the property manager said she had to call a repair guy. They said they are going to eventually put in the card type so we don't have to deal with quarters and coins getting the machine jammed and making it unusable. Well, I won't hold my breath as everything seems to take a long time to get something changed. The light in the bottom of the stairwell to the common garage is out and it is quite dark there since there are no windows. The light has been out now for about a week and if someone were to trip, the owner would be in trouble. The light will be out for probably for another week before they get around to chanding the bulb.
Last night I left a note on my upstairs neighbor asking them to please not walk around their bedroom in the late hours of the night as they wake me up with the floor boards popping and creaking. It almost sounds like they are doing their exercising or maybe they just have insomnia. Either way, I asked them to please go out to their living room area if they need to exercise or pace. I did get to sleep through the night last night and am hoping this will continue but more than likely the neighbors will be noisy again tonight and will continue to do as they please at all hours. Four months till I can move out of my place. I will start looking seriously during my office holiday shut down (Dec 25-Jan 1). I plan to move out when my lease expires Jan 31, 2010 and I would like to try to find a place that is close to what I have for floor plan and all.
