Have you heard about the HAPPY Act?

  5. I signed and forwarded to friends! I sign all of them I just never post about it (and forward to friends which is also important). I saw a post yesterday about that and I just wanted to say that I am always for the animals (that's why I'm here like the rest of you!). I just don't post about signing them. I'm sure most are like that, too.

  6. I signed and personalized the message and sent it off to my representative. I saw it posted on a blog and now on here, so I hope people will make this Act better known.

  7. One suggestion that I would make would be to actually write a letter to as many representatives as you can. If you Google 'email petitions', most of the information will be about how most of them don't do any good/aren't valid. I really don't know what to believe about it, so by writing letters at least we'll know that our voices are heard.

  8. FH, I also call my reps and senators local offices to let them know about pertinent legislation and how I would like them to vote.... don't know if personal contact matters, but, it can't hurt ;-)
