   I had asked for prayer and good thoughts for Moo Moo Kitty. Well, the water receded enough for her owners to wade to the house and get in. The downstairs of their home is destroyed. But Moo Moo was upstairs alive and well. :-) She is back with her family and they have driven her to Tennessee where they are staying with family.

   For those who did not read the original story, my friend's husband was evacuated with the family dogs by police and firemen but the cat could not be found. They left food and water in the upstairs of the house and prayed that she would be ok.

   Awwww..What a relief! I'm so happy to hear Moo Moo kitty is safe and sound! Sorry to hear about your friend's downstairs though. How devastating for them. =(

   So glad Moo Moo Kitty is ok, stinks about the house. We had to leave our kitties when we were evacuated by flood waters in '84. We put food and water up high and they were ok (they liked countertops anyway). PJ was outside and wouldn't come in; he eventually climbed a tree and camped out for about a day till the water receded. He was a tough and resilient kitty.

    Fantastic that Moo Moo Kitty is safe & sound w/Family again! Thanks CW for the update.

    Joan...they truly are resilent(most anyways). Some of those here during our flood were in trees & on rooftops for weeks till they could be rescued by boat.
