  1. Scheduled on David Letterman tonight (Thurs) : the Top 10 list is presented by New Zealand prime minister John Key.

  2. We apologise profusely in advance!!!!

  3. I do seem to remember it coming up a month ago that he would be on.
I also apologise in advance. The most common reason for voting for him (actually his party) in the last election was that people were bored with the labour government (helen clark). Silly people.
Still gotta watch. Should be on youtube for the kiwis once it's done or you can wait a year an a half for it to reach nz :)

  16. I miss Helen Clark. I know people here thought she was kind of bossy (I'm pretty bossy myself so don't find that a problem, lol) but heck, the woman literally climbed mountains in her spare time. Whatta gal! Of course she wasn't quite radical enough for me but then let's face it, very few are, tee hee.

But then, who visits anywhere because of the politicians? Come for the scenery, the food, the wine, the bungee jumping and US!

(Now if you get to see the documentary Untouchable Girls, about the Topp Twins, our favourite country'n'western-singing, yodelling lesbian twins from down on the farm, with hearts of gold, THAT's more like the Kiwidom I love...)

  17. lol~ Jcat!... I'm all over the food, wine, scenery... but bungee jumping (NOT!)...... LOL.... altho, if I come, my Son & Daughter probably would be up for that!....

  18. It's not compulsory, AV, I'd rather stick pins in my eyes than leap off a bridge on a bit of elastic, you and I will sit on the sidelines with a nice pinot noir...

Posted 2 years ago by jcat #

  19. Move over Jcat and AV - I'm joining you on the sidelines - I'll bring some bread from Pandoro and a nice Kapiti olive oil for dunking.

Posted 2 years ago by CSBM #

  26. Gack!!! No - but I can recommend a nice Tuatara Ale from near where I live or Steinlager is the more recognised NZ beer. Or Monteiths Summer Ale which has a hint of ginger to it is VERY nice.
