Tee hee, much funnier was when they interviewed John Key on the telly tonight over here after the Letterman show and he said that Michelle Obama was so much taller than both him and his wife (and taller than Barack) that she made his wife look like a hobbit! Boy is he going to be in trouble...
By the way, there IS no Cinnabon at Auckland Airport. That wasn't even true... Or I'm sure we would have heard about it from KK ;-)
My thoughts exactly Jcat about the Hobbit comment. Also agree about the Cinnabon, if there was Meegz would have told me. She loved them while in Delaware and we have even made them here, very involved recipe and has enough sugar in it to power a small island nation for a decade. But yummy!

LOL....... I go to bed, dreaming about watching MS and Meegz bungee jumping, while me, Jcat, KK, MC, Cheri and BC watch (sipping wine, beer & booze of course)..... and I wake up finding that now we're all headed to the airport for cinnabons to watch the "hobbit" NZ leaders fly in....... LOL......
.... that was either the funniest dream I've ever had, or was it a nightmare?.... LOL

In case anyone missed John Key on David Letterman...here it is:
I take it...Kiwis don't like John Key? lol. I guess all the night host are vying for top spot. I couldn't believe Letterman had Obama back on his show after becoming President. NYC must have been put at a stand still from security.
I did like Key's 'cute accent". Hell...all Kiwis have cute accents to me. :)
OMG! just saw the picture of Mr & Mrs Key with Mr & Mrs Obama. I can well understand why Mr Key thought what he did but not why he vocalised it. His wife does look hobbit sized next to the 3 others.
Susie, it's not that we hate him but his party's policies tend not to bode well for the environment and the ordinary person on the street. Our last Prime Minister was such a down to earth, unassuming lady and now we have Mr Millionaire who lives in a mansion with overseas holiday homes. Does he really Uunderstand how things are for the ordinary person.
