Ya know, this is really one nice guy! He and I were chatting online last night while he was at work and in between calls. He knows I have not really slept a good full night's rest since having a piece of my skull taken out. Its just not easy to get comfortable when your brain is at the surface (and I don't really want to 'lay' directly on my brain. It's nauseating). I kid you not I have 10 pillows on my bed along with a body pillow. (Betty and Wilma LOVE that!) I am constantly changing out different pillows thru the night, softer then firmer, then flatter, then prop myself up. Nothing ever works and I complain that I don't get good sleep and I am cranky by morning. Sometimes I am more exhausted come morning. I had made mention in passing some time ago that the World Chiari Association had developed special (rather pricey) pillows to cradle the head of a Chiari patient. It is made specifically on your height/weight and whether you are a side/back/tummy sleeper. So he surprises me last night by saying he ordered me one side pillow and one back pillow. He said he was tired of seeing me suffer and not get good sleep (and wake up with a stiff neck almost daily!). I was speechless, could barely type out "thank you". To me that was far better than a bouquet of roses that will die or a fattening meal. I thought that was so sweet and wanted to share! :)

MC, I am totally blown away! What a sweet, sweet man! I think I would have had to propose to him after that!!!!...or proposition...whichever! Please let him know that he is amassing major brownie points here at TDK. If he keeps this up, I am starting a fan club.
