...on men. Through this forum, I've been made aware that there are some really great gentlemen out there. I'm thinking of Ron, Paul, and John, who have shared their grief and memories with us, and allowed us to share ours with them. Of Tigger, CrazyCatMan, Arcalian, Ivory Bill, etc. who have shared their wittiness, and caring for others with us. And the hubbies, oh my! Mr. MCW, Mr. WWM, Mr. KW, Jeff, well, the list goes on. And now to add FF, AL's Dave, and GD's GG to the list of really, really nice guys! Over the years of my personal life, I had come to decide men were pretty much a bunch of bums, (some exceptions, I have a great brother and a bunch of pretty neat cousins) but these TDK gentlemen are restoring my faith in that gender. So thank you, ladies, for sharing your experiences with the rest of us. I pray that others of my TDK friends who have not had that wonderful type of companionship experience, but instead have had the opposite, will someday be able to realize
it for themselves. Ladies, there is hope. Again, thank you all for sharing.
Oh my! I almost forgot to add the Great KittenMaster himself! Thank you, KM!

PJ I have to admit I think I'm married to the best of the bunch. There was that occassion after getting released from the hospital he yelled at me about his laundry, but I have starch and I'm not afraid to use it!
There is always hope! Remember Christ himself was made man. Mom always told me you may kiss a lot of frogs before you find the prince, but he is out there. I just was very blessed.

You are indeed blessed, SM, and he will certainly be there for you, no matter what health problems you have to face. Don't be hesitant about leaning on him. He knows how important you are to him!

Do I have to show this thread to Mr MCW? He'll be unbearable!! ;o)
I think this site attracts the nicest people and brings out the best in them. Without exception, everyone I've met through TDK has been lovely!!

Oh dear, Mr. WWM is now puffed up at being included in the category of "Great Men". But I do have to say, I think he belongs there - although I'm a bit biased!
Thank you, PJ!

I'm sorry Kilroy! Of course, Mr. K needs to be included! And kudos to others I'm sure I left off the list! I've just been so impressed by their thoughtfulness these last few months in particular, I had to comment. So raise your favourite beverage in a toast! To the TDK Gentlemen! And Susie, I'm afraid you're right.

Raises Gladd to toast the TDK gentlemen, my hubbs included..
PJ and Susie...I went through my share of slime...not toads since I don't want the toads to get a complex..but thank goodness I didn't succumb and I found hubby..He gets on my nerves at times but he is a good man and a good father.
There are good guys out there, we just have to find more for our TDK friends :)Posted 2 years ago by cricketsmama #

We have to include my Victor on that list! My first husband left when my post-polio syndrome became worse--but my Victor married me knowing how bad it would get and wasn't the least bit afraid. His love gives me the courage to keep going and overcome the fear that my life will be shorter than I planned. He is supportive, encouraging--and he loves cats! Can't get better than that!
