I do have to get out of there. I've had the darn bugs over a month and nothing seems to get rid of them. I don't want to get a new bed because they're all over the house and will eventually make it to a new bed, too :(

I doubt there'll be drama today, but who knows? Working til 1:00, probably meeting my friend at Panera then home to take a nap and have to be at the party by 7:00. More than half of my coworkers are going (even EBL and BB) - it sounds like it'll be fun.

Good Morning. I'm up early so as to get something useful done today. I need to clean out my shed. We are still having in the eighties weather but it is supposed to go way down next week. I think everyone is ready for a break. The heating cooling system at work is malfunctioning and the furnace is blasting away in an already hot building. miserable.

Night Jcat, have a restful sleep!..... I peeked in the NS at sparrow fart this morning, but no one was around - Hubbs got up at 4:30 am to take MIL to the airport, she's going on a cruise with her senior group...... I actually went back to bed, and fell back asleep!.... yay for me!..... Now its 10 am, and I think I'll jump in the car and take the birds to Petsmart to the vet...... I (wrongly) accused Abby of squeezing her little paw in the cage and nicking the big old girl Princess, but now I think it's the younger male - he seems to want to take over the Alpha position, and is battering her!..... I think I need to separate them..... be back soon!

Hello everybody, very impressed at Molly & Moonshadow's exertions! I've been running around doing some errands, am now trying to tackle the house which looks like a small bomb's gone off in the middle of it! Trying to cram all my weekend jobs into today so I can spend all tomorrow settling Harry - who I go and see in a couple of hours :o)

Well, cleaning up the house for Harry makes it worthwile :)
I have promised myself I will clean up my place over the next week or so - it's a mess. I really need to find another place to live, but I have to wait a bit and see about my bonus from work, how many hours I can pick up outside the gym, etc. I really want to move NOW!

We'll leave around 1pm CST for El Paso. The ride is tomorrow and the 50 mile riders set out at 7:30 am MST. I wish it were later so that it would be warmer. The problem with that start time is that if I dress to be comfortable at 7:30, I'll be burning up an hour later. It should be ..... interesting!

I got a bunch of errands done, including the deadly "stopping at Petco for food and trying not to get sucked in by the kitty adoption area" - ack! Of course I had to go look, and there was this beautiful Russian Blue that was going bonkers every time someone came near, sticking her paw through the bars and meowing like crazy. I could just tell she was saying, "Get me out of here, I want to go home!". :( And right under her cage was an adorable little orangie, looked like a baby Georgie. I wanted to stick him in the pocket of my sweatshirt and run away with him.
Can't wait for an update on Harry - he's almost home!

Wow, I made it! Hip hip hooray! Amazingly enough out of 200 people I finished in the top 10! That is AMAZING for someone only 4 months out from brain surgery. I would be either 7, 8, 9, or 10 depending on how you look at it. A group of four of us came in at the same time. I am sore now but so proud I could make it the whole way. This is the biggest thing I have done since surgery. I feel like I can do anything now. FF made me come home to check on Wilma and shower so he should be here shortly. Just wanted to let you know I did it and I made it! Thanks for trudging alongside me MS. Gotta start getting ready for next year too!

Activity filled weekend here on TDK. I just finished ironing my pa'u (Hawaiian skirt) for a wedding this afternoon. (the pa'u skirt is 4 yards of fabric and the top is 2 yard - LOTS to iron). I have watered my outdoor plants and need to get up and practice my hulas for the wedding. Then there's the cleaning to do.. and then shower and get ready.
If the pictures turn out decent, they'll be posted on face book. :)
