Well, it's been a while since I've started a Night Shift, but it seems that's all I can post on, now that I'm w**king!... LOL... Hi everyone, hope your Saturday was fun....... *drags out the fountains*...... chocolate, vodka, everything you could desire!.....
... food... very gourmet - pizza with goat cheese, spinach and carmilized onions..... manouri cheese with mixed dried fruit and honey...... salsa that's made without tomatoes (who knew!).....
... pull up a chair and share your day!
Hi AV! I'll have a slice of pizza please. Ringo has been pretending to be the great tabby hunter and yesterday morning came in with a little skink (lizard) - it was still alive and MrKK managed to get it away from him and set it free. Then last night he turned up with a big rat. I was standing in the lounge talking to miniK and her friend when I looked over to the cat door and there was Ringo sitting hunched over a rat. Not sure if it was alive or not. I yelled at him and went to get MrKK and by the time he came upstairs Ringo and ratty had gone back out the cat door. He has only shown his face once this morning and then vanished again - he knows he is still in disgrace.

Cheri manages to park herself in front of the chocolate fountain and sliced strawberries. Armed with a fork, she dares anyone to move her. Just then a very cute purry furball runs across the floor, and Cheri gives chase, picks up said furball and headbonks her. People take advantage of this time to barricade the chocolate. It is for everyone, not just Cheri !!!

..... I had to move the "new alpha parakeet".... in his "own" cage...... up to the built in bar/table..... thingy..... so that Abby can't get to him now!.... LOL..... he is now in his own cage, and now, Princess is back on her favorite "pink mirror".... that she loves!...... simple solutions....
Hi all! I am back from a lovely day today! First finished a 5K only 4 months out from brain surgery then FF took me for a love dinner at a Tapas restaurant and we had a nice big pitcher of sangria. After that he took me to the "old neighborhood" he grew up in and showed me all the old haunts. We then went to a really OLD drive in restaurant and had their double chocolate milkshakes. Said he had them all the time as a kid and I can see why. They have a sign up that states they were featured on "diners, drive-ins and dives" on the Food Network. Then we came back to my house and watched 'Happy Feet'. It was a nice evening but he had to run home to wash a uniform for work tomorrow. NO sign of the girls yet but I am sure they will peek out soon.

I've spent the entire day cutting out and sewing tablier aprons for a craft show coming up next Saturday and I don't think I will have enough for a respectable showing. *dread shudder shudder shudder*
The aprons are denim and trimmed with calico pockets, hand embroidery, applique work, and contrasting buttons reinforcing the corners of the pockets, and they look nice.
But my hands hurt, Rotley and Ruggles "helped" me all day long, and I want some chocolate *whimper*
Mmmmmmm, that was great. Puts fork down carefully and leaves the chocolate fountain.
I've been out helping my niece plant potatoes so they can have new potatoes for Christmas dinner. Today is a lovely spring day.

It's autumn on this side, and the leaves are starting to blaze like bonfires on the hills behind my place. The fog rises in the morning, and you can see the dying moon glowing like a lost pearl. Lovely!
And new potatoes are growing on the other side of the world -- even lovelier!
