SM, I think this is the one I have.... it's really great in my HO!

  2. how much did it c ost? for me the cost offsets having to iron! my mom says I really need to start ironing more!

    Posted 2 years ago by mollycat71 #

  3. I am sorry did you say it was available at Bed Bath and Beyond?

    Posted 2 years ago by mollycat71 #

  4. MC, I think the cost was similar to what's posted on that site, but it was worth it for us!... no more ironing, and actualy saved on dry cleaning costs cause I could wash and steam much of what I would have taken to the dry cleaners!

  5. I would like to not iron anymore! If it is fast and I don't have to haul the ironing board around it might be worth it.

  6. Everybody left!!

  7. SM and AV, I agree. Sometimes it just is too much to pull out the ironing board and (for me) keep re-ironing it. I could save up for it or ask for it for Christmas. I think my mom might at least go half if she knew that I might actually attempt to "iron" or "steam" my clothes!

  8. I should be ironing my clothes right now, but just don't have the energy.

  9. Whew! I'm able to log back on. That was very strange. :)

  10. I've decided to start dry-cleaning some of my good work clothes, particularly the black items, as I am SICK of always having cat fur on them!

  11. Hi KW! Welcome back. Any idea what happened to you?

Posted 2 years ago by KapitiKats in NZ #

  12. I have no idea what happened. I'm glad I could IM MC and ask her to let folks know what happened to me. lol

  13. It was Furl--that is who was behind it! He didn't want you to look at the kittehs!

  14. Welcome back KW! I am having the same problem with Facebook right now. We are getting bad weather adn bad weather is all around. wonder if that has antyhing to do with it?!

    Posted 2 years ago by mollycat71 #

  15. I know it couldn't have been Furl. She has been sleeping about ten feet from me all evening. It could have been Digit or Boots. ;D

  16. It's a mystery, MC. Just gremlins in the interwebs. lol

  17. How sweet, Wima just stood up and laid her little head on my shoulder and promptly fell asleep (staning up). I really think she is happy to be home. I am relieved to say that Betty felt comfy enough to come into the same room and went to sit on the window ledge. There was no hissing or naughty sounds to each other. Progress!

  18. LOL KW!.....Abby is behind many of my "mishaps"!

Posted 2 years ago by AV #

  19. That is good news, MC. It's about time that Betty came around and welcomed her sister home. Next thing you know they will be snuggled up together with you on your bed or sofa. :)

  20. I'm not looking forward to w**k tomorrow. Not sure why. I've reviewed all my files for my very busy morning docket so I am ready. I think I'm missing my hubby. He'll be back on Tuesday. Yay!

Posted 2 years ago by Kitten Whisperer #

  21. KW, I don't want to go to work tomorrow either. I think it is cause I want a day to hang out with the girls and get them reintegrated (Betty just growled at Wilma, darn) and get some stuff done around the house. Plus it is supposed to be rainy and cold.

    Posted 2 years ago by mollycat71 #

  22. Yes, that getting up on a Monday morning takes some extra effort. :)

Posted 2 years ago by Kitten Whisperer #

  23. It sure did this morning! Weather was horrible and it was darker as we switched to daylight savings.

Posted 2 years ago by KapitiKats in NZ #

  24. I need to do some things around here to be set for tomorrow so I'm going to sign off. Sweet dreams, MC, AV and SM!

And "no," KK, I didn't starch KM's boxers!!! You naughty wench! lol

Posted 2 years ago by Kitten Whisperer #

  25. ok I am gonna go to bed too. wilma finally got off my lap so I donn't feel bad about getting up now. Sweet dreams or a good day to you all!

  26. I am off to dreamland as well! Amazing Race is on! I haven't seen the past few, but I have always wanted to be able to go on that show. I have a feeling hubby would throttle me the first time I went the wrong way. I have to admit the herding ducks in Vietnam looked like fun to me!

Good Night and Peace to All!

  27. Good evening, all! Welcome home to Harry! And, I'm just catching up with the end of the thread, so I have to ask, who starched who's boxers???? *yikes*

Posted 2 years ago by kittymom #

  28. Sorry it was me--hubby deserved it. I was in the ER last Sunday and Monday. I get released after they thought I had a heart attack on Sunday and he is yelling at me because his laundry wasn't done. He knew the shape I was in and is very aware of where the laundry room is. His daughter had a few quiet words and I know how to use starch!

Posted 2 years ago by SoxsMom #

  29. Oh, SM, {{{hugs}}} *giggling* Sometimes it's OK to get quiet revenge.....

  30. I just found one of the pitfalls of vegetables from your own garden. I decided I would have Chicken Parmigiana with silver beet(chard) instead of baby spinach. I grow coloured silverbeet, lovely yellow, orange and red ribs on it and I picked the young tiny tender leaves and put them to rinse in warm salty water. The salt causes any insects drop off. Shook them out and inspected for bugs then cuts of the bottom of the stem. picked them all up and gave a final shake. Suddenly a young snail dropped out of a leaf, eeekkk yuk! Re-washing it all again and will inspect more closely this time. Don't want crunchies in my Parmigiana.
