This image kept coming into my head, and I knew I had to write this. I hope it somehow brings you comfort, just as it did when C.C. brought me Mamma Kitty's message from the Bridge.
*The feeling of the room suddenly changes as a sense of peace fills the air. Seeming to emerge out of nowhere, C.C. appears in front of you, her green eyes locking on to yours as she approaches with a very special message. Remembering what she has been told to do, the calico cat reaches out with one paw to tap you on the knee. She then waits to be invited up before jumping into your lap. With a loud rumbling purr, she offers you the very special card she is carrying with her. On the front of the card is a picture of a young looking black cat gazing up at you through half-closed eyes from her comfortable napping spot in the soft green grass. The image captures a confident attitude as though this gorgeous black cat knows she is in charge of her domain. She is the absolute picture of contentment. On the back of the card is a single paw print where Velvet has signed the card. With a soft meow, C.C. tries to convey the message she has been asked to give you - one you already know but needed to hear again. Velvet loves you and is waiting for you. She thanks you for listening to her when she was ready to be released from her pain, and does not want you to feel guilty for doing what she asked you to do. After giving you the card and message, C.C. snuggles up against you giving you the hug that Velvet asked her to give you, then softly jumps down from your lap and fades away.*
