Haven't seen you in a long while Metsa, hope you are doing well :)
SMM, some people only think of animals as pets and that's a sad thing. I make sure when we go on our long trips to tell my nephew and his wife to come over and get the kitties if something happens to us.

CM, I don't have any family who seem to want to step up to the plate to help my cats if anything were to happen to me. I don't trust any of my family to care for my cats as well as or as much as I do.

SMM, I am so sorry about your dad's attitude. I have agreements with several friends regarding our cats. We all have each other's backs in the event of illness or worse. For now, talk to your regular vet and list his number and see if they would be willing to be the emergency contact. Then go to your landlord and put a letter on file authorizing them to let your vet's office representative in to your unit in the event of an emergency.

It's almost lunch time.... the morning has flown by. Was 107 on Saturday... and I was at an outdoor wedding. Several of us danced (hula) and it turned out really well. A tad bit wilted, but good nonetheless.
Tonight will be catching up on laundry.... just not enough time during the weekned to get everything done and still have some fun. I planted 5 gardenia plants yesterday. I hope they make it through to next summer when they are 'supposed' to bloom. *inhales deeply* ahhh the sweet scent.

Thanks for the idea, Kykat. It is a very good idea and one that I will consider putting in to place. Wow, 107 degrees and still danced, 2Popoki! Wow! The higher the temperature and humidity the more I wilt. Anything over 80 degrees with high humidity has me running for air conditioning. Time for lunch and it couldn't come soon enough as I am starting to feel sleepy. Need something to energize me.

ugh! I think I am getting the stomach flu. Came home from work early. Nothing like getting sick in a public toilet. Put heating pad on my tummy and wilma laying up against it. I guess I am getting double use out of it!

Aww Wilma wants to be warm too. Sorry you got sick MC. Nothing worse than in a public toilet. Ick!!
I ate my lunch but it was a lean cuisine as the line for the sandwiches was way too long.
Then I get back to work and they have finally set me up with a second monitor but my never having used two monitors at the same time, didn't know how to utilize the second monitor. So I call the help desk and they proceed to treat me like an idiot. OMG! I didn't know that all you had to do was shrink the active window so that you could move it to the other monitor. I think I am getting old when technology is starting to stump me. Never use to happen. I must be getting a visit soon from Aunt Flo because I was feeling emotional yesterday and am feeling it today. Just had a little cry after being treated like an idiot by the IT help desk.

Ugh, my bottom hurts! LOL I think my tummy was gurgling too much even for Wilma, she left me! Either that or the constant setting her to the side and running to the bathroom scared her off!
