Happy Tuesday TDK world. Today we are celebrating fall's great apple harvest here in Illinois by enjoying some of the local Apple Donuts and Fresh Apple Cider. Cider available hot or cold. We also have Apple Fritters, Apple Pancakes and Apple Strudel. Plus there are eggs, bacon and sausage. Hot coffee/tea/cocoa are awaiting you to warm you up and get you going. Happy Tuesday, we made it thru Monday!

Mmmm, apple pancakes with a side of bacon, please. A few weekends ago I ran to the farmers' market and the Honeycrisps were in; before I realized what I was doing I bought a dozen! I ended up bringing some in to work to give away, but I ate most of them. I love Honeycrisps.

Just popping head briefly. Time I was in bed as it's past the witching hour. Airy and I have been looking at bridesmaids dresses on line. We saw sooooooooo many pretty dresses but can't decide what would suit 1 very slender girl and 2 very well endowed girls. Fun fun fun.
Yay, Abbie has her first tooth and it seems like only yesterday that we were all gathered round awaiting her arrival.

Good fall morning to those waking up to crisp air. It's a little cool here, but we will get some more warm temps before it stays cool for fall.
I'll have an apple fritter and a warm cup of cider. And let's not forget a pretty little marmie for cool-weather snuggling.

Good morning, all!
Just checking in before running out the door to team practice in a couple of minutes. I didn't sleep well - the bed bugs have won the battle and instead of sleeping in my comfortable bed, I slept on an air mattress on the floor - which got me dangerously close to motion sickness every time the boys decided to step on it (every few minutes, it seemed!).
I finally got my phone issue fixed and was able t text GG back this morning. He texted me back that he wishes I was there with him :)Oh no - Bobby is trying to kill the air mattress!!!!

I don't get near enough time to catch up with everyone anymore!..... hope those that aren't feeling well, feel better.... those heading to bed get a good nights' rest, those heading to work have a good day, and those that are lucky enough to hang out here in the Cafe have fun!..... will catch up with everyone tonight!......

Deb, the "something earth and it starts with a D" is diatomaceous earth, and according to my research it is supposed to work on bedbugs as well as fleas.
Bobby, stay away from the air mattress!
I'm about to switch desks, and we're due for a fire drill at some point; I'm hoping it happens after I've moved from the 9th floor to the 4th, as I get dizzy walking down the stairs.

Good mid-morning all. I am in the headache club today. It hit last night righ before it was time to leave work and wont go away. Last night it made me so nauseous, I had to take a phenegren and go to bed! Hopefully it will go away at some point and I can get back to feeling better. In the mean time I will enjoy some virtual apple donuts, hot cider and a honeycrisp!

Aww, nothing like a snoring cat to let you know all is well with the world.
I have the blues this morning and am trying to fight them but right now they are getting to me again what with my being frustrated with people at work and at my apartment complex. At least my morning started of nicely with Mia playing with me. She has this game she likes to play where she gets a small wadded up piece of paper and I am to toss it up in the air just above her and she jumps up and catches it and then puts it down or sometimes will carry it and put it down a little further away. We did this multiple times this morning and it was so cute. Then when I went to say see you later to Sylvester, he gave me his belly to rub. I rubbed it and scratched his head and he was purring away and curling his paws. They both just made my morning. I wanted to stay home with them.
It is interesting we are talking apples today as I was thinking yesterday about how we are going into October which is when my favorite apple, the Pippin comes into season. I love them and they are good to eat with cheese, chocolate or in a nice pie. MMMMM..I am getting hungry now.

Awww, SMM, kitties do have a way of making your heart melt. Mine have a way of making me mad. Right now they are not getting along and they are so jealous of each other. Why can't they get along? I know Wilma is naked but really.....its WILMA! I need to get her a little sweater so maybe Betty won't notice. Those apples and cheese sound so good. I just had some soup with Betty and now my tummy is raring up again! UGH! I guess its back to bed for more sleep.

Maybe some nice crackers will help your tummy settle down, MC? Sorry you aren't feeling well. A sweater for poor naked Wilma might be a good idea. Betty, please be nice to poor Wilma. She has gone through so much and needs you as well as Momma.
All you wanted to know about Pippins and what you can make with them...yum!! Just found out that Benjamin Franklin made them popular in England. Interesting!
