  1. Grab your jammies, put on your slippers and come snuggle a kitteh! There are fresh baked cookies of all types coming from the Tuxies in the kitchen. They also have ice cold milk to go with or for cookie dunking. There is hot coffee/tea/cocoa, fully stocked bar, soda, juices and water. Come unwind, tell the kits about your day, and just say hello! Hope all is well in your little corner of the world!

  2. Hi Molly!.... Hello Kitty pjs on, check...... can I have something other than cookies? (I can't stand anything sweet)... maybe a BAG of potatoe chips?... or popcorn!......

..... relaxing right now, dinner is in the oven, waiting for Hubbs to get home....

... Hubbs made his first HOLE IN ONE today on the golf course!... I'm so proud of him!..... he's golfed his entire life, and has never had one!... and he's a scratch handicap!.... many of his friends (terrible golfers have had like 4, and he's never had one!).... he was estatic!......

  3. Yay for hubbs! Sure, you can certainly have some popcorn or potato chips. Kittehs wanted to make it easy for the TDK family tonight as they know that we are all busy and under the weather. What's in the over for dinner?

  4. Would the tuxies in the kitchen have access to cookies long gone by? I'd dance happily on the front lawn if someone could find a source of Hydrox cookies. I know that they don't make them any more but, I miss them so badly I think I'd even eat a stale one. Oreos just aren't in it. Failing Hydrox, I'll take a few chocochip with walnuts and a glass of really cold milk.

  5. nom, nom, nom on the popcorn!!! LOL

I'm laughing at my spelling, it's terrible!

... in the oven - baked chicken in sesamee/ginger sauce, with fresh cauliflower with butter/thyme sauce, sauteed green beans with onions and mushrooms.......

healthy - I stopped by Fresh Market on the way home!

  6. Of course they still make Hydrox! (at least I think) There is a factory in Chicago! I haven't had them in the recent period but I have had them in the past few years. Did they stop making them?

  7. Oi - you lot left me hanging over there in the Cafe! No-one put up the closed sign - LOL.
Hydrox cookies? There's a brand name that doesn't leave me with a great impression!

  8. Oh, Kaptikats. It was the original cookie that Oreo copied and later replaced in the hearts of the grocery-buying public. The name may have had something to do with it, I guess. But they were always so much better than cookie #2 (Oreo).

  9. I was just reading on them and they were Kosher and Oreo's weren't. Interesting. I actually liked them better than Oreo's myself. I am with GA.

  10. Evening friends and family, Max is home, still groggy with an ugly cut on his right side. They think they got all of the tumor, it was the size of a baseball and very angry looking according to the Doctor.

  11. Oh Max, Wilma can relate. She sends gentle purrs to you to get well soon!

    Posted 5 months ago by mollycat71 #

  12. Tks, and the good thing is that none of the crew is hissing at him, they were licking the top of his head. Guess my talk with them before leaving may have worked.

  13. i would like some really good tasting cookies with lots of chocolate and no calories or carbs please. a glass of ice cold milk would feel really good about now. that last 10 minutes on the bike really dragged on and on and on and...

  14. Shadz send a gentle headbonk over for Max. Poor boy will feel like c**p for a while. Glad it's done and he's home with Meowmy. Just sneaking a quick peek at TDK before I finish off moving furniture so we can get the beds in and out tomorrow.

  16. Okay, I want to visit this store: http://news.yahoo.com/s/nm/20090930/od_nm/us_candystore

I would go nuts and spend way too much money in a place like that! Now a singing chocolate tree with lollipops has got to be worth seeing. Just need to win the lotto so I can afford to visit Dubai.

Poor Max. Sending you some healing white light. Good for hubbs, AV. Must have felt good to sink that putt.

Oh some nice warm chocolate chip cookies with 2% organic milk, please.

  17. Hydrox!.. I remember those (I couldn't eat them) but my siblings and parents loved them!...... for some odd reason, I simply do not have a taste/craving for anything with a sweet taste!.... I was the child at the birthday parties that "didn't like cake and ice cream"!.... however, put me by a bowl of pretzels.... and LOOK OUT!.... if, and it's a big IF, I seem to want something even remotely sweet, it's a bite, and I mean a small one, of pure dark chocolate..... about two bites a year (one in October, and one random) is plenty for me!

  18. Arg.....we just back back from our first College Night for this week. Can I please have a martini???? And can anyone tell me why on earth a senior in high school on Sept. 30 would not even have thought about college yet??? No SAT's or ACT's; no applications....... dumb, dumb, dumb.......

  19. Hey y'all,

Kitties are sprawled in all directions here. CW's little rescue kitten even let me cuddle her today! She's a champion purrer, too.

Posted 5 months ago by Bellantara #

  20. Aww, you are lucky Bellantara! Teensie can be affectionate too once she accepts you. I got to have her sitting in my lap purring away when I visited a year ago.

  21. WWM, kids amaze me! They think college is just gonna come to them. I worked my butt off to get into college and then grad school!

    Posted 5 months ago by mollycat71 #

  22. .... WWM!.... it's sad sometimes to see the level of "de-involvment" of parents of our seniors today!..... the ones on the ball are aware of all the deadlines, etc..... many of those that aren't, don't even know that they can take the SAT, ACT numerous times to achieve a better score!......both of my college children took the tests 3 times, and both increased their scores by over 100 points!..... both of which gave them the ability go qualify for higher honors programs/scholarships!....... things have changed SO much in the past 30+ years, it's almost unbelievable!

  23. Gonna go to bed, goodnight family!

    Posted 5 months ago by mollycat71 #

  24. Good evening all! Just popping in for a little while; I'll have coffee with a dash of chocolate vodka and a dollop of whipped cream, please. Hope all is well with everyone....
WWM, AV is right, but, I hope you and Andy can help him get 'up to speed' quickly, espically if he has "Army" potential...

  27. Peeks into the NS office to find kittehs stretched out on all the furniture snoring. Decides to blow out candles for the kittehs safety. Walk over to a big overstuffed chair and plop down with a blanket. Maybe some other insomniacs will come in soon. I can't sleep cause FF made a remark that has had me puzzled and it was so appropriate that he got a call right in the middle of our discussion about the comment. Let me give you background info.

Saturday we went out to eat to a small restaurant in Chicago. As we were walking to it we went past some high end boutiques. We passed one and he saw a dress that really caught his eye. It was ok, a little too pricey for me. I don't have anywhere to wear a dress like that. He asked if we could go in and I try it on. I said "No, its really too pricey". He continued with "Its not about the price, I think that is a great dress and you would look really good in it". Needless to say I didn't want to go in for several reasons. 1. It was way too pricey, 2. I don't go to places that are that "formal" 3. It was a very summery dress and summer's almost GONE and finally 4. The store was for petites sized 0-8 (SO NOT ME!!). I am flattered he thought I could get into a petite sized 8 but it ain't gonna happen in any life time. I am 5'8" and more than an 8. It was an akward moment for me and I didn't know how to squirm out of it. Well today he tells me that I hurt his feelings and he was only trying to do something nice for me. He then goes on to say it might not hurt me to be a little "more feminine" (dresses, heels, the whole 9 yards). What? Where did that comment come from? It was a tad emarrassing for me to be put on the spot like that when I knew the saleslady's would have laughed me out of the store knowing I am no size 8. I used to be much bigger so the size I am at now is so much better but it still makes me uncomfortable when times like that come up. I realize he has no concept of women's sizes but it still bother's me. Oh well, Betty is snuggling on my lap, maybe I will doze off. Thanks for letting me vent.

  28. Hi, MC, I'm just popping in before I do a bit of night editing... Sorry to find you not being able to sleep. That was a funny comment of FF, I remember thinking that when you first posted it. To be honest, I think he is being a little out of line. It is up to you how you dress. If he loves to see you in girly clothes, perhaps he could buy you a pretty scarf or piece of jewellery or something for a birthday present...

As for the shop, I think I would have just told him the truth -- that it was a petite sizes shop and you are too tall; at 5 foot 8 they wouldn't have anything to fit you. Being tall is a good thing, I think! (well, I'm five nine-ish so I would...)

But bear in mind, I am the LAST person who should give anybody relationship advice, lol...

Posted 5 months ago by jcat #

  29. same here JCAT, same here! I am not the one to be giving advice either! LOL How are the kits tonite?

    Posted 5 months ago by mollycat71 #

  30. They had great fun today, MC, it was another lovely spring day and so when I got a lot of work done, this afternoon, I went outside to work on my garden path. Libby was rolling around all over it and so was Jasper. I wished I'd taken the camera out, she just looked exactly like she was saying, "I'm so cute, take my photo, look, I'm posing!" They are very glad to see the sunshine back, like me. They both came back inside covered in builder's sand and Jasper has left grimy pawprints all over my lovely new printer/scanner. But I still love him...

How are Wilma and Betty getting along today? Bet poor Miss Wilma's still feeling the cold. And hope you're feeling a bit better from that horrible stomach flu!
