Nah, I am at work. Too much to do, end of month billing. I have to find employees to work next week, that seems to happen when you fire someone. I am sipping on my hot orange tea. Its a bit soothing. Though I would like to be in Hello Kitty PJ's snuggling on the girls.

Thursday in M'waukee is pretty & 50's! Last, for sure of Jazz tonight & I'm headed there with a jacket in tow! Should be fun/hope they are selling Java to keep warm! I need a jolt of it to start my day along with some raisin toast and a cute marmalade cat to smooch! Hope all enjoy their day/nite & stay safe/sound with their special fur friends!

Morning all. I am finally on the mend. I don't feel like I am being kicked in the stomach today so that is improvement. MC, I hope you start to feel better soon. You too Siobhan.
CM, while you are making pancakes and bacon can you shove a little through the wormhole to me today?
Have a great morning everyone. I have a project to work on that will take up what little brain power I have.

Good morning, everyone! Hpe everyone is having a good day. Sorry your back is still bothering you, Siobhan. MC, sorry you're still sick and FF is being an ignorant....man.
I'm tired - I didn't get around to trying to iron the bed bugs out of my bed when I got home last night and since the boys (ob, I suspect) killed the air mattress after one night, I slept in a chair last night - now I'm feeling stiff and tired.I am excited October is here, though - yay fall!! We had a small cool front here yesterday and it was only around 80. A nice change from the mid-90s :)

Good morning all. The nights are cooling down here. Another night around 49 degrees. Able to sleep the whole night under the blanket, yay! I have been using my white noise diffuser and it is helping me sleep through the night. Another yay! Either my upstairs neighbor is being extra quiet or her noisy daughters aren't staying over much any more. I hope the quiet continues. It is so nice not to hear things being dropped so much or the floorboards creaking and popping. Temperatures are suppose to be around 75 degrees for today.
Glad to know you are feeling better Kykat. Sorry you aren't still feeling good, MC. Glad to know you got some relief Siobhan from your back and hope the doc is able to help you heal.
Manager was chatting with me this morning about the plans to move some people and offices around. The good news if is if they go through with it, my noisy and disgusting pig of a cubicle neighbor will be moved far away from me and I would be in a cubicle where manager's office doesn't look directly into my cubicle! Yay! The only major draw back is that I have the other noisy employee who will have the office next door to my manager and he sometimes likes to swear too. Oh well can't have everything can we. The SVP wants this all to happen before January. They may wait to do it when we go on holiday shut down starting Christmas Eve but I am hoping for before or around Thanksgiving. We will see when and if it happens.

Hi SMM, I hope the quet continues at the apartment. Glad you got a white noise diffuser thingy. I got some really cool headphones to use with my mp3 player when we are on the flight for our cruise. I have a playlist of sleepy music and once dinner is over, I plan to put on the music and try to sleep. These headphones block out all other noise. We'll see if the master plan works!
Sio, I am jealous of your hamburger. I had cottage cheese for lunch as a change from the chicken noodle soup I have been eating. I am on the mend but still not up for anything big. I am even having to take it slow on the cottage cheese. So slip me a big juicy burger through the wormhole. Sing along with me. "I like mine with lettuce and tomato, heinz 57 and french fried potatoes........"

Hey all, how are we all? Cold tonight here in the UK - I have a ot water bottle for my feet!! (a real one not one of the furr butts!!)
Quite a stressful day today - my fiance's Dad was taken to hospital with chest pains and they are quite concerned. tonight he is having an angiogram to try and put another stent in his arteries as it looks close to collapse. Its such a shame he is only 48, has had 2 heart attacks and lost his dad to the same condition at only 66. Any spare prayers would be appreciated please! -
Kykat, now I want a nice big juicy burger! We have a Red Robins here and I have been wanting to try one. I have had the white noise diffuser since last year and used it off and on since then. I really want to just sleep without it so I try not to use it. Then I get so fed up I start using it again.
How scary, Pika! Sending healing white light to your fiance's Dad.

Angioplasties are wonderful things. My dad has had three or four of them with shents installed. It's made a world of difference for him, and he's lived longer than his dad did.
My father-in-law died of his fourth heart attack in 1980. His first one was when he was 45, so when my husband passed that age, he was relieved. :-)
Then again, my father-in-law ate everything that was really bad for you: greasy fried foods, red-eye gravy, etc. In the 1960's though, there weren't all the healthy and tasty alternatives available that we have now. When you're poor, growing up in the South, fresh foods aren't always the cheapest...

Prayers coming your way Pika for your fiance's dad.

Thanks all. amazing what they can do nowadays - he has 2 stents already so knows the process. this is going to sound awful but he has been on hols for 3 weeks to Bali where drinking and eating a lot daily are the norm. Not good for someone with a heart condition - I feel angry and so does Rob. His dad should look after himself more and could have avoided this.
-
Pika, I'll be keeping your fiance's dad in my prayers, too. And..... *plops on nurses cap*..... with that family history, your fiance needs to be very mindful of his own cardiac status and do everything that he can to be in good cardiac health.
Hi, Everyone!!!! I did my two hours at the gym this morning and then had to go to Sam's Club, which is many ways is worse than the gym. I have come to the conclusion that there is some conspiracy at Sam's Club that you can't get out of there for under $100, even if there was only one thing on your shopping list.

phew 2 hours?? I am exhausted just thinking about that!! I get bored after an hour! But do love the gym now.
Rob went to have some checks last month (I am quite the nag!!) even though he is quite young (28, 9 years younger than me, tee hee) he still needs to be careful and he exercises lots and we eat very well. If only this would rub off on his Dad!! Beside the bed in the hospital today he had 2 bags of crisps!!! (potato chips) WHAT?????? -
Pika, prayers for your fiance's dad. He does need to take some responsibility for his health.
I have my work done for today and will be heading off later to do laundry and home with the kitties. I feel bad that so many are having health problems right now. It's no fun when you don't feel good. Maybe we need a swirl of TDK white light to surround those not feeling well.Posted 5 months ago by LadyKat of IA #

Yeah, I'm a glutton for punishment, Pika! I really don't know how to approach any kind of physical activity at anything less than full steam.

Afternoon all, Pika, Sending Healing Energy for your fiancee's Dad. Hope the angio and stent are successful.
WWM, 2 hours! ! Yikes
Another typical Spring day here, meaning sun, wind, rain in various orders. I'm waiting for our new bed to be delivered, got the room all ready for it and am exhausted from yoinking the mattress around. Feels like I've done 2 hours in the gym.Posted 5 months ago by Moonshadow_NZ #

Wow, WWM two hours at the gym! I haven't done that much in one day at the gym since I was 30 and working out seven days a week two hours a day. Got down to 123 lbs at that time (suppose to not weigh less than 135) and was almost on my way to anorexia as I started to be afraid of what I ate and liked exercising way too much. I would go and do the aerobics class for an hour and then do weights or on off days when I didn't do weights, I did the eliptical for 30 mins on the stairmaster (or treadmill) and 30 minutes on the eliptical. I need to get back to regularly exercising at least for 30 minutes 4-6 days a week.
