AV, I think you lost a day. I believe we should be celebrating the first day in October? :) My day was busy but they all are right now. Oct turned into a somewhat crazy month for me this year.

I hope you feel better, MC. October is a busy month at work because the beginning of fall semester is always busy. I am taking an adult education class in mastering my digital camera. I am taking my Mom's sister to see her on Saturday and they are both excited :), Next week I have a lot going on at church, the week after that we are having a family dinner to celebrate my parent's 60th wedding anniversary, and that on top of all my projects here at home.

Hi Cheri!...how are the girls?..... Mine have been so good at the new house, they are really settling in!... even Cuddles has "agreed" to use the cat flap!.....
..... I made the most yummy salsa today for my office meeting!.. my employees really loved it, we have been in the habit of having one of us bring something every week as a "sample" for ideas for other functions!...it's fun!
Spice is fine. she is eating her new canned diet well. she's has avoderm, blue spa select, and now evo innova canned.
i've only had the two visitations from Velvet since she passed. i can't believe it's been almost 3 weeks. i am putting together some pictures from her life and will have them on the internet soon. i also have pictures of her gravesite.
i am doing fine getting ready for my work physical on wednesday, october 14th. i will probably go up the night before since the first appointment is at 9:30 am and it's 149 miles away.
i'm getting the suv ready this weekend with a maintenance package and inspection.
the man upstairs is being much more reasonable with his dog. but if it were me, i wouldn't have a young golden retriever alone in an apartment all day long...
.... awww.. (((huggs))).. Cheri!... Cuddles and Abby send Spice big huggs too!... it's hard to loose a loved one!... they lost their brother Milo almost 2 yrs ago (when I first found TDK).... and our house has never been the same!.....

Just got home but I'm off to bed. Tonight was another College Night for us but now we're done for another year. What a colossal waste of time this one was!!! How can high school students even manage to look so awful? And if I had to tell one more student that the school that we represent, which is one of the most prestigious in the country, doesn't offer welding I think that I would have puked. Good grief!!!! *sigh*
I'm off to read and then get ready for an early wake-up for bike riding tomorrow. After my 57.5 miles on Sunday, I think that I'm going to settle for about 40 miles tomorrow. Unless the front rolls through that the weather man is threatening. Then it could change to the gym.

Hi Jcat, bed successfully in the correct room and all made up and ready for two tired sore bodies. Unfortunately Mr MS is sound asleep in his chair and when I try to wake him he mumbles something about tides times! ! I'm having a video chat with Airy as HRH was snuggled in my arms and Airy wanted to see her.

Hey, MS, I'm glad the bed is in the right place for two weary people and a cat to snuggle up in... Video chatting and posting at the same time, isn't technology wonderful -- you're waving to Deb in Tucson from Airy in LA via NZ and posting globally at the same time. (So you'd think they'd be able to cure headaches by now...)
Is Airy looking forward to coming home for a visit? And is Max eating and walking normally today, Deb?
I had a productive day, slaved over a hot edit and got the last paper off by 5pm, yay... It was a yucky windy chilly day so I didn't really want to go out in the garden...
Airy and I were video chatting earlier today when Mr MS rang me, so I was holding the microphone to the telephone so they could have a quick hello/goodbye. Have done that for Mum too and she is stil in awe of the things we can do nowadays.

Yep, my parents just loaned me the DVD of Cranford (British series based on a novel by Mrs Gaskell that I love -- it's very funny) with Judi Dench etc etc in it and it's set in 1842. I was watching that tonight and it just sucked me in totally -- and you go from that period, when a broken arm usually had to be amputated, to you video chatting to Airy... it's like magic!
Were you caught in a time warp for a moment there Jcat?
I'm going to wake Mr MS and ignore all pleas of leave me here and what's the tide doing and make him go up to bed. He didn't wake up in the chair until 2am this morning and woke me bumping around in the dark. I need sleep.
