Hi all! Tonite the kittehs are having a "potluck" where we all bring the food and they provide the beverages. The kittehs have out blankies and big floofy pillows since it is so cold here. I am bringing pasta salad and pumpkin fudge. Kittehs looking for naps to curl up on and watch "House, MD" dvds on the big screen TV. Hope your day has been good, stop by and say hello!

I'm bringing a nice beef stew and bread bowls to serve it in. Stew is one of my favorite foods in the Fall. :)
MC, I saw that you accomplished quite a bit at work today. Good for you. Your workspace will feel so much better to be in when you head back in on Monday.
Cheri, sorry your Mom missed an opportunity to visit with you. I need to read the thread you started about her new cat. It sounds like you had a nice time with your Dad.
We have temps in the 50s here and some clouds in an otherwise blue sky. Football is on our TV and we have a nice fire going in the fireplace. Digit is kneading on me and giving me head bonks. :)

My kitties are all doing well, MC. Furl and Boots are upstairs napping. They are mostly upstairs in the bedrooms all day, but Digit came down to cuddle with me on the couch. :) How is Wilma doing today?

Wilma has been pretty clingy all day. Betty has hissed and growled at her many times. I even caught her eating once today. That was a really nice sight. Right now she is curled up on my lap. Hi Joan!

Mmmm beef stew sounds so yummy, KW. I too love a good thick beef stew with lots of beef chunks, carrots, potatoes, and other veggies. I bought my first Pippin apple yesterday and plan to eat one or two tonight. I have the choice of eating it with some cheese or some M&M's.

Hubby is off to the store in preparation for University of Oregon football game starting in 50 minutes. Not sure what we will end up with for dinner. He did mention needing a lottery ticket! :)

I need to buy a lotto tonight. I am watching a show on past lotto winners right now. I really would love to be able to pay off all debts and not worry about money so much any more. Interesting thing is whenever my step Mom plays a raffle, she always wins. We keep asking her to buy a lotto ticket. Well the mega lotto is on her birthday which is this coming Tues, 10/06. It is at $79 million payout. I am going to buy one but I want her to come with me and buy one too. If Mom won, all I ask for would be for to pay off all my debts and provide a little savings too. I would do the same for them.
I will try both cheese and chocolate with the Pippin apple. Temps today were aroun 68 degrees. I love when it starts to cool down. Temps tonight will be around 48 degrees.

Oh I am so very tired. Last night was Homecoming--we won!! Had to be at the school the next morning at 7am. First round of competition started today. Hubby went with them. The rain started and they had to postpone for 30 minutes. The last band to play was us. We were the band to march on the wet field. Didn't matter they took first coming out of prelims! Finals start in 12 minutes. Hubby is sending texts for a blow by blow account. I know that they are really happy with the results so far, but they are tired too. I had to stay home. The growth on my kidney is now palpable. Hubby was horrified. At the game he leaned over to rub my back, he knew I was hurting, and he felt it himself. I see the specialist on the 12th.
MC how is Wilma doing this evening?
KW the stew sounds wonderful! I have Dove chocolate with carmel!

Miss Wilma is here on my lap taking a Saturday night bath. She seems ok, I "caught" her eating today, it was great to see. Unfortunately, the girls still aren't getting along!

Lol, like the picture of Betty 'sulking' on the freshly washed towels....mine do that too, just let one thing come out of the dryer without them lying on it! Glad that Wilma is feeling all snuggly with you.
