Hi, Everyone! We have returned from the concert that we went to tonight which was the symphony orchestra and the group Jeans and Classics. This group is out of Canada and they do concerts by famous bands. We had heard them before doing an Eagles concert and they were great. Tonight the concert was called Abbamania and they were so good! They sang about 19 Abba songs accompanied by the symphony orchestra. It was such fun. When we came out of the concert it was raining. A good soaking rain which we hope will keep up all night.
Well, it's past my pumpkin time so I'm heading off. Goodnight, Everyone!

Peeking in, seems to be all quiet on the home front, kittehs snoozing throughout the room, little sounds of snoring and tails swishing with a rhythm and the lights down to a low glow. Have to w*** a bit and then will be back to check on the kittehs and the night shifters :)

It's 2:07 am here in AZ, ... cool to d**n hot (still) in USA and the night is cool and wet in NZ ..... so time to close Night Shift and snuggle under the comforters, so here goes...good job everyone & bless you...
check - turns fountains off
check - sweep the floor (never know who has been tossing stuff around)
check - lights off and turns out neon "TDK Night-Shift" and "Poetry Jam" sign in window
check - night lights glowing gently, puts on cool jazz radio for ambiance and stragglers check - cat flaps swings creeeeeeeek (pulls out WD-40), check cat flaps again to ensure they swing quietly and effortlessly
check - doors closed, left just ajar so fuzzbutts don't come to us with complaints
check - dry kibble out as a midnight snack (so hopefully no 5 am breakfast wake-up call) and freshens litter-box. Puts away assorted fuzzy, squeaky cat-toys into Toy-Boxcheck - windows slightly open for Northern TDKers' spring and closed for Southern TDKers' autumn.
Goodnight to all our imaginary friends in TDK land, Goodnight Airy and Jim-man. White light,healing energy and prayer for all those in need. Be careful out there! Bless all those whom have left before us, please watch over us >^..^<

busy, I made the mistake of entering our understair cupboard, it's where things get tossed and forgotten about. I emerged about an hour later with heaps of stuff to be recycled. Then in the afternoon Mum and I went to the airport to meet KK & minikK and see also to see my niece off back to her city. Home again and cook dinner for us(Meegz & Andrew are staying the night and have to take Mr MS to work early.

Great minds think alike, MS, I am just clearing out the airing cupboard, it is just about walk-in size! so of course everything and anything gets tossed in there (yep, by me). Alas I am far from finished yet...
I keep forgetting it's the school holidays. Hope the weather improves for KK and mini-KK, it is freezing down here. You must just about have a full house :)

Max is doing well, eating and walking straight, and with a bit of energy even. Went to yard sales this a.m., and found some curtain rods to put up so curtains can be hung and a couple of other things. Also bought a security door for the front door so I can open the door without worrying about the crew getting out but they can still smell and watch outside.

Evening jcat, they miss it from the other house and this one is pretty with little scrolls on the outside decor of the door. Now to find a screen or storm door for the back door. Hate to be afraid to open the door, I do have an escape artist who races for the door when its opened, lol.

Jcat I am far from finished that cupboard but have enough room to step into it now and store my vacuum cleaner safely without the likelihood of falling hose pipes when you open the door.

I don't have the pillows yet, they are on back order. My neck and back of head without a skull can only last so long in bed and then I am done. Like right now I am a little nauseous, which I get when I lay directly on my brain. It is 5am here MS. Betty is awfully chatty today. Wilma is sleeping in.

I hope those pillows arrive soon MC, you really could use them now.
Just chatting with Airy and seeing what she can pick up at duty free, I don't really drink now, don't smoke and the perfumes are way too expensive so I think she will probably be getting me some eye lift cream. Morning MC, sorry you are having trouble sleeping my friend. Betty just has lots to say :)
MS & jcat, at least you are both working on your storage areas, now I have to do the same with just unpacking boxes from the move. The cats do miss sitting in front of the door(s) smelling outside and seeing what they can see out there. The windows are cool but not quite the same, lol.

Wilma is holding her own. She seems pretty weak and is REALLY skinny. I can feel all the bones in her spine and her ribs. It makes me sad. She is also really itching from all the fur they shaved off. It is coming back in and she has "stubble". Wednesday is our big day back to the vets. MS, silly you, you don't need eye lift cream I am sure!

Oh, poor little Wilma, I hope she can put some meat on those bones, she must be doubly cold with no fat and no fur... Is Wednesday when you get the biopsy results too, MC, or will they let you know before then? It is so hard waiting.
Deb, the trouble with clearing out the airing cupboard is that I have to find somewhere else to put all the stuff I kept in there... lol. The clothes that are washed but yet to be ironed, the clothes that really need to go in a rag bag, and all of the bits and bobs I tossed in on the floor there... It might all end up going back in there yet... though I spect I will get a bit thrown away!

Nah, she's just been missing you, MC.
The breadmaker's just beeped. I have to go divide and freeze my pizza dough (I like to have some always on hand for quick dinners...) Also, I made ginger bread today and foccaccia bread -- well, it was cold, today -- snow on the Rimutaka hills and hail and goodness knows what -- so I like to be in the kitchen on days like that, it's warm with the oven on and all I want to do is eat, anyway... sadly...

Deb, I just looked at the link you posted to The Daily Kitten with the fosters, and they were adorable but OH, the previous day's kitten! Did you see the little orangie? Sooooo cute. I know, there are other cute kitties besides orangies, but for some reason I just love them extra much.

Time for me to head to bed now, see you all tomorrow if I find time to get on. Meegz and I are off to talk to the wedding venue people and finalise the menu etc tomorrow. Also have to see KK and miniKK somewhere in the day too.
