  4. Yah I just got our house done and then Abby spread her kitten chow all over her room in a fit of kitten frenzy. A fun time was had by all but Mom who now has to clean it up. I have to work especially hard this coming week and will not have much time or energy for the house so was almost forced to have it done today.

  6. All I did was set up the spare bedroom for my daughter, hung some of the many pictures that I have on various walls, hung curtains in the spare room and put in another area rug in there, hung the red lace curtains in the living room and now maybe I can go to sleep for a bit. We have all done a good job today :)

Gee AZDEBRA. Don't you think you could have done a little more?? WOW You worked circles around me.I only vacuumed dusted and did the bathrooms. the kitchen has been done since I have been painting in there last week. Then we played hours with Abby and when she finally wound down I worked on a mosaic project I have been doing for a few months on and off.

I am terrible about hanging pictures. Been in this house over a year now and still need to hang things right. I literally threw things at the walls just to get them out of the way when we were moving in. I know there is a better way. Since I want to paint the whole place I did not worry about the nail holes when I move things.

  8. I got my main rooms and bathroom clean enough to avoid any snide remarks. She showed up with 4 grandchildren looking to sell me stuff out of a catalog for one of those overpriced school fundraisers. I'd rather just give the school some money and be done with it. The kids wanted to play with the cats and dog who did not appreciate it and I was so busy trying to protect all involved really hard to look at a catalog. I finally saw a couple of CD's I liked and by then didn't care about price. :) They they headed over to my other sisters. I thought about calling and warning her but then I thought why should I have all the fun.

  9. Missmaggieelizabeth, lol, it took me literally years to start hanging pictures. My husband didn't want 'holes in the walls' so we never hung them, they were always laid along the floor and walls. Well he doesn't live here and live is rough for him because he would have a heart attack if he saw my walls now....pictures everywhere and not just 'serious' pictures like he thought!! Actually who cares what he thought, I like them and I do cheat and use Hercules Hooks or the ones like them....they are so easy to put in drywall, leave little tiny holes and I can put them in without smashing my fingers with a hammer. As for doing everything else, I have a 'let's get it done now and you will feel so much better after' best friend who drives me to the edge at times but she is so right, it looks better once its done and with two or three doing it you don't stop and sit when you feel an inkling that you are done for the day.
