  1. Hi everyone..busy day today..
Awww WWM, I am sorry. I will come to TX too :)
SMM, it's always something isn't it. Good luck with the interview and have fun tonight. Good to go with an open mind, you might find something you really like, you never know.

  2. *heaving in shock at SMM's electric bill*

$19.40? $19.40? That's less than a twenty dollar bill for electricity! My bill last month was over $175.00!!!!

  3. WWM, you can probably freeze the muffins and that way you always have a muffin handy to thaw and nom!

SMM, I love Tapas. If you see Albondigas on the menu, I think you will like them. They are Spanish meatballs in a tomato broth. (you can always get a double order and a salad and that sounds like dinner to me!) Also you can ask if they will make you Paella with sausage and chicken. I love Paella in all incarnations! There should be some good non-seafood choices for you and any restaurant worth its salt should be able to adapt to making you a dish without shellfish. Is it a taste preference or are you allergic. Anywho drink some Sangria and make the best of it.

  4. Yes, I think that I will get them ready to freeze. I had to run off because today was the day that Mr. WWM got to preview the junk... uh, I mean stuff, at the Texas Sized Garage Sale that benefits Meals on Wheels. We always work at the sale but we're too busy to look around. Today we were in search of an aquarium to use as a nursery for our little baby turtles. Found one, then had to go and get gravel. All of this for three late turtle babies. They are in there now exploring their new digs.

  5. Yay for turtle babies (and nice humans who take care of them).

Is it time to go home yet? Tuesdays are HARD.

  6. I'm counting the minutes until it's quitting time. I would rather be working than trying to look like I'm working. It certainly makes the day go faster. A good evening to everyone...see you tomorrow!

  7. Kykat, I just do not like shell fish. The only one I can even touch is crab cakes and that is because they have items added to them. I cannot eat crab off of the shell. I do not like oysters, clams, etc. I cannot even stand the smell of the clam soup. I love fish though and salmon is my favorite. There is a trout tapas that sounds interesting and as always I end up finding out some foods that were okay enough to enjoy a little but nothing to crow about.

WWM, you are such a good momma to those three turtles. Reminds me when my sister had two minature turtles when she was around 10. Dad made her return them to the local pond though as he didn't want any pets (we didn't have the siamese cats till Dad's second marriage which occurred when I was 10 and my sister was 13 yrs of age).

I am off to another meeting. I forgot to buy a birthday card for my step-mom so I will have to zip over to the store on my way out the door. I don't even have time to call her and sing her happy birthday which has been a long time tradition for me. I meant to do it at lunch but it was a grab lunch on the run today. I agree with Kilroy on that this Tuesday has been way too hard.

  10. WWM, would you recommend Midwives for the TDK Book Club?

  11. Joan, I don't honestly know. It would take a certain reader to appreciate this book. I really enjoyed it, but I picked it apart from a nurses prospective. It is an excellent read.
