Hi Joan! Hi BB! How are you guys tonite? I am in my jammies too. Just getting ready to go snuggle a bit with Wilma until Betty starts body slamming the door. I think Wilma needs a little extra lovin right now. A calico loads up Joan's order and slides thru the wormhole to bring to her!

Oh, Mollycat, I have been so worried about your Wilma. I even told my vet about her, and her problem. Poor little dear. I think it is a great idea to separate them for now. Loving our babies can be so stressful at times! Goodness!! You've both been on my mind so much lately. HUGS to you and scritches for Wilma. Kiss the top of her head for me too will you?

Cheri, your place and bed does sound so comfly. Ahhhh... so glad you are pampered. I loved hearing about Spice all snuggled up to you and kneading you. Darling! Sorry you are so sore though, but I'm so proud of you working so hard to be in great shape!
I love when my kitties snuggle up to me in bed. With the cooler weather, they have snuggled a lot lately. The leaves are looking so pretty here lately. I bet they are really nice up by you Cheri, as you are so much more north from me. :) -
yes, we're in "perfect" color right now...

Hi, MC, Cheri, Joan and BB!
It's cooler here, especially at night. I've got a lap blanket spread over me and two cats on top of it keeping me warm. :) Pretty sweet setup!

i have chronic insomnia, and the chronic pain does not help. however, i've spent years figuring out what i needed to do for my bedroom as far as type of sheets, noise level, fabric (only 100 percent cotton), temperature of bedroom, lighting, i have blackout curtains underneath heavy cotton velvet drapes that help with the temperature of the room, etc.
i have high grade duck feather pillows (not goose or down).
i still have the insomnia, but not nearly as bad.
and to get up in the morning, i have an alarm clock that is 113 decibles (think 1st row at a rock concert) and strobe lights. it even has an option to add a mattress shaker, which i don't use...

the second visit from Velvet was her meow. Spice is not vocal. I was reading a book when i heard the meow. Velvet's meows were always "i want your attention now". I looked up, expecting to see her, and I saw nothing...

Hello KW!
Was off reading about the little local toddler that has terrible skin issues. The pictures just break my heart. I saw her a couple times in the store where I work. Precious baby girl..... :( She is at the hospital right now as they are unable to get her fever down. Her arms, hands and legs are covered with gauze all the time. I signed her guestbook. -
Evening all! I have a new book from MCW! I have to finish my textbook for class tonight first. I want to pick up The Lost Symbol. So many books and so little time....the troubles of the world.
MC I bet you are off to dreamland already, but we must be on the same wavelength! I went and picked up some apple cider after the volleyball games.

The weather here today was actually in the mid 70's, so much cooler than usual. Max is doing well, his incision is healing, he is eating all his food and actually asking for more, still doesn't wander around the house much and would rather stay in the office and my bathroom. Have about given up on my headache(s) going away right now, they are running one into another it seems without end, oh well.

Evening, Everyone! I agree with SM - so many books and so little time. I ordered all of the books for my book group and when they arrived yesterday it sort of scared me! We are reading Don Quixote over the summer and thank goodness I will have two months to read it. It's huge! I can't find our book for November so far but our one for December is called Sound of Winds and is about Amelia Earhart. I'm looking forward to that one. Right now I'm reading a book about women's cycling that a friend sent me for my birthday.
I am off as tomorrow is a 5:00 am wake up for gym. And then Mr. WWM and I have a luncheon to go to called Save the Girls, which is a kickoff for the AirSho this weekend. The weather has been bad with lots of cloud cover and the old WWII warbirds have had trouble flying in for AirSho. It was clearer this afternoon but will sox in again tomorrow. We're hoping that they took advantage of the break to fly in.
Have a great evening, Everyone!
