Good Morning all! Cold, chilly and rainy here. An early winter day. Snow tomorrow and Sunday! Have a nice hot breakfast and hot beverage. Kitties are here to service your every need as well as ache and pain. I am having some hot oatmeal and hot lemon water (great diuretic! kinda bloated this "week"). Betty was AWFUL again last night, slept on the couch with her again. Wilma is eating like a horse and taking her meds. Only thing that worries me is when I go into my bedroom which is closed off for Wilma it smells like an infection. I checked my bedsheets and her pillow/blankie combo and found no drainage. I tried to check her tummy but she had nothing to do with it! Hoping and praying the antibiotic works and no more SPA visits. I need some Valium for Betty to relax, I do have some kitty Valium and I am gonna call the VET today to ask her if I can give Betty some. Poor baby is gonna have a heart attack at this rate! Today I get to go with FF back to the old neighborhood and meet his childhood buddies. UGH, I am so nervous I could throw up. I think I will need a strong drink in each hand. Good thing the one owns a bar! LOL Happy Friday All!

Sorry to hear you are having a fitful bunch of nights with the girls. Could Betty be reacting to your nervousness about Wilma and Wilma's being sick combined?
I know that Max's tumor doubled in size from when I started my move to the new house and then me leaving him for basically 2 weeks to see my Mom and then her funeral....and that had to be stress that aggravated the cancer causing it to double itself.

Absolutely! The vet said that Betty feels my stress so she reacts by being stressed! Yikes, we are a group! How are you? How is Max these days? I have been so wrapped up in caring for Wilma I feel like I have forgotten the rest of the world!

Been there done that, so please don't worry about the world....I myself have been muddling along with the day-to-day stuff lately, Max is doing fine though, he has his appetite back and asks for more even, the incision looks like Frankenstein but its healing well, now I am just praying that the cancer doesn't return anytime soon. Poor Betty, she doesn't know what to do with that stress that she is feeling.

Hugs all around to Wilma, Betty, MC, Deb and Max...I sure hope every kitty gets back to their normal self soon! Glad to hear Wilma is eating and taking her meds :)
Up a few times last night with Abbers...she has to be getting more teeth...She was a drool monster yesterday. She wouldn't take a bottle yesterday and even last night. I gave her Tylenol to help with the pain...but she still got up :(
I am going over a friends house for lunch today which will be nice. the girls can play and we can talk. It's cold and rainy though :(
MC, you will be fine with FF. That says a lot if he wants to bring you to the old neighborhood and introduce you. I think he is serious about you!! YAY!

Happy Friday everyone! Cold and rainy/drippy here in SW Michigan... had a big glass of fresh apple cider this morning. Tastes like biting into an apple, it's so fresh...lip smackin' good.
I'm feeling better, I feel like 'going somewhere' and doing things. YAY. Second day at work without the heating pad. YAY!! Got my regular flu shot yesterday and got a red crayon bandage :-)
Might take a small road trip with the spousal unit to Penzey's in Grand Rapids. If he's wishy-washy, I go by mahself.
Poor Abbie! A friend of mine used to rub a little bit of Jack Daniels on her baby's gums when he was teething.

Morning, all. Just popping in for a minute to say hi. The big adventure this morning was peeling George off the screen door to the balcony; usually he gets up on a tall chair on his back legs and stretches up the screen, well today he was climbing it with all four feet, and he got stuck! Meowed his silly head off and mamma had to come rescue him.

Deb, I'm glad Max is holding his own. Eating is a good sign.
MC, I wish I had some advice for you and your girls, but I don't, just lots of sympathy. Have fun with FF, I agree that it's a good thing if he's introducing you around.

Hi all, just a quick visit again while I munch my lunch. Got woken up by Harry and his car alarm miaow this morning, that's one weird noise he makes!!
It's turned grey and cold over here, so to cheer ourselves up we booked our holiday yesterday - 2 weeks of late November sunshine in Egypt (again!) thank you very much. I'm counting down already!!

..... sad news..... "Princess" the oldest parakeet crossed the bridge last night..... I just looked in their cage, and she was on the bottom....... poor Sunshine will miss her friend!...... I'm still afraid to put Sol (the young guy) back in with Sunshine, he was the one that injured Princess, and caused her demise...... *quietly says a prayer for Princess*..... snif

Morning, all, sorry I'm late and missed MS, I watched my silly TV programme (Supernatural) till 11.30pm and then suddenly decided I had a craving to make fudge brownies. Go figure! So the brownies have just come out of the oven and now I don't want them any more, I want hot blackcurrant juice instead...

My back's doing better, JCat, thanks for asking. I suspect my digestive problems caused some inflammation and swelling that pressed on nerves in my back, causing the awful back pain. Just a suspicion, but now that I've backed off on the fiber, and given myself a week of lower fiber eating, things seem to be improving. Hallelujah! Second day of work without using the heating pad...yesterday I brought it, today I didn't. Still have vicodin, but I'm not needing to use it as much. I feel like doing stuff again!
