If I think I can pull it off, I'll be practicing one of the dances in my cube today... LOL It's the newest dance, I don't have it 'nailed' and I'll be doing a solo. send positive vibes please... thank you

Peeks in the Cafe..... holds out paw...."are there any brownies left"?.....
.... I just looked in Sunshine's cage, she looks sad and lonely...... she and Princess were together since they were born......she's awful quiet, not her usual chirppy self...... she doesn't know where her sister has gone!.... Princess was always the leader - loudest, firt to the food or water bowl..... I feel so bad that Sol "challenged" her, and injured her, he was in there for over a year, and only just recently did this..... I had no idea Parakeets would do that to each other........I feel really bad......
....maybe that brownie would make me feel better.....
Puts out my paw too.....brownie for a worn out girl??? Please and thank you! Wilma and Betty get reunited this weekend. The vet said to reintroduce them during supervised time. YAY! I may get to sleep IN bed! I am going with FF tonite to his old neighborhood to hang out with his old buddies from childhood. Oh my, I am soooo nervous! I hope I don't make a fool of myself and they like me. Nerves, nerves, nerves, can I have TWO brownies?

Happy Weekend LK, enjoy the kittehs! I think I need a LARGE glass of wine! Thank Goodness the one friend OWNS a bar and that is where we are meeting up! Liquid courage. The bar is located across the street from Wrigley Field in Chicago.

I'm working til 8 tonight and I'm tired and bored. After work I have to go home and feed the boys and give Bobby his pill and then go feed and walk the dog. And back to work at 8:00am. GG is working the hockey game tomorrow night, so he wants to get together tonight. We'll see.
AV! We are supposed to have a hard freeze tonite and snow tomorrow. Can we meet halfway and we will both be comfy!?

Yep, AV - it's just as hot here. It's been really nasty out the last few days.
I will see GG tonight and take a nap tomorrow to make up for lack of sleep. My issue is that I have to drive 25 minutes to walk the dog in the morning and then 25 minutes to the gym and be here at 7:45am. I'll have to get up really, really early. GG's worth it, though!
I prefer the cold weather for date night, too, AV, but GG assured me the other day that sweaty is sexy, so who knows?

He's cute. I was writing with a friend in Denmark in Danish on Facebook and GG all of a sudden posted this sentence in Danish that made absolutely no sense whatsoever. (Guess he used an online translator). We were making fun but he claims I didn't understand because I've forgotten my Danish - he may be right!
It's sweet that he is so interested in where I come from and he even "chatted" a bit with my Danish friend.
well you can't fault GG for trying! great, FF just finished a construction job he was working today. we were supposed to get together at 3, not it will be at least another two hours before he is ready

Bad FF for being late, but he's worth it!
GG is at a party with this golf team that he plays with and I'm working and dog-sitting - it'll probably be at least 9:30 til I see him.
I think Betty and I might take a "catnap"!

LOL GD & MC!.... golf team.... Hubbs has his "regular gaggle"... and I encourage him to keep up with them! (I have mine) ... everyone needs a network of friends, etc. and after 25 years of marriage, I'd truly have to say, both Hubbs and I have a good one because we both have a good network of friends, and common people that we really enjoy getting together with!.... If he was "under foot" every weekend 24/7, I'd probably go nuts!... LOL
AV, I would agree. Spouses/significant others are great but you still need your life, friends and time apart. It keeps things fresh and keeps each person sane! How are the girls AV?

... MC, thanks for asking!.... Cuddles is doing well... same ole, same ole!... and Abby too!... they have evolved into their different "spots" in the new house, and are comfy and happy with each!... still don't bond, but I am asking for the moon there!
Glad the transition has been smooth for the girls! Hope my girls "rebond" this weekend. 2P, what time do you dance tomorrow??
