I hope you can help :)
Ive been taken care of a momma cat and her 4 kittens since Sep 11th since the owner did a poor job of it and I offered to take care of them for 2 weeks and to try to find a home for the babies during those two weeks. After that he was supposed to pick the remaining cats up again.
Since then I have found a home for the 2 females but I still have the mother cat as well as her two sons :) The owner has not been responding to me for about 2 weeks now when asking when he would pick up his cats. When letting him know that I found a home for one of the females his response was "Cool". That was the last thing I heard from him.
So here I am with abandoned cats and I need help. As much as Id love to keep them I have 4 adult cats of my own and my husband is deploying this month as well.
Gracie, the mother is maybe 8-12 months old- so pretty young herself and the kittens are 2 months old.
They are litter trained (all 3) and eat dry food and drink water.
My husband is still on vacation until Oct 10th and we could deliver them to a rescue (not a kill shelter) or a foster/forever home until then. On the 13th they could also be delivered as far as Jacksonville, FL since the in-laws are flying in.
Between now and the 10th/11th we are also planning a trip to Savannah and Charleston, SC if there is somebody there that could help.
Of course they can also be looked at and picked up here in Ludowici, GA any time
The black kitten has a spot on his belly thats solid white and some semi white spots on his chest and neck as well as some random white hairs here and there. Super cute.
The orange kitten has some white on his chest mingled in with his orange stripes and has these super cute tuffs on his ears that make him look like a Linx. He loves his belly rubbed and likes to lick your fingers.
Right now my main concern are the kittens but from the sound of it I will also need to find a home for Gracie, the mother cat.
