Evening Deb. A brief late night stop in to see what is going on here. Not a lot by the looks of it. Had a busy morning then went out this afternoon small bore rifle shooting and on to a nephews 21st birthday dinner. Very cold here tonight as we have a nasty but brief cold front blow up the two islands dumping snow. KK and minikK would have seen some wonderful snowy scenery on their train journey home. They arrived back to a moderate earthquake. Have an early wake up as Mr MS is off fishing for the day.

Evening, MS and Deb, I'm just logging on for the same reason, to see what's going on. I had a nice day out, the bad weather didn't eventuate but I think it hit this evening, after we got home.

Hey, Deb! Did you have a good 'weekend' off? Find anything at the yard sales? Tired here too, MS, plus it is so cold in my office! Libs is all tucked up in her beanbag but I just had to feed Jas and then he went romping out the front door -- silly boy. I suspect he'll be back inside soon...
Had a nap when I first got back from my outing and dreamed I had a very old, very affectionate tiger, along with Libs and Jas, that I had been forgetting to feed. I felt awful. Wonder what that's about? I used to dream that there was an endless feral colony of cats in a labyrinthine set of old tunnels and a scary old house next to me, haven't dreamed that for a while. Must stop watching horror movies, lol...

Max is doing fine, glad that his appetite is back finally. The headache is still hanging in here, wish it would pick on someone else. Daughter is coming in tomorrow afternoon for the weekend. Hate that she is driving but glad to be seeing her. Son comes next weekend, its his 10 year High School reunion.
Seems awfully q***t here tonight, but guess that is a good thing. It does sound like you both had a busy enough day at least.

jcat, yard sales are this morning and haven't quite decided if I am going or not, but my friend wants to go since there are loads of community sales. Plus we are looking for benches to put under my windows for the kits to lie upon while seeing whats out in the big world. Naps are always good things, kinda wish I could take one right now lol!

Tee hee, Deb, my mum says I'll nap my life away but when you don't sleep well at night, and are often up doing things, you get so you can't do without them :) I would like to get into a more ordinary regular sleep pattern though but my body has other ideas...
Ooh, I think you should go on the yard sales, if you can manage it, maybe it will help to shake that horrible head. I need to go look for some cheap shelves to put in the bottom of my pantry, I have filled the shelves that are in there and there is plenty of room underneath those for some more. I might venture out tomorrow morning if the sun is shining...

I nap too, wish I could get a good 6 + hrs of sleep in a stretch but haven't done that in a long time. Found a couple of nice shelves and put them by the windows and the kits love 'em, makes the sill wide enough for them to lie on and sprawl out in the sun. Since they aren't allowed outside it satifies their nosey watching of the birds and whatnot outside.

They love to squirm in the sun, don't they Debs, my Libs and Jas fight for the spot just inside the front door in the morning, where they can lie on the carpet in a patch of sun and be practically outdoors, watching the birds and passers-by...
That's the only thing I don't like about having beautiful old-fashioned sash windows, is that you don't have windowsills wide enough to put things on or for the cats to lie on. The laundry window is the only newer one that Libs can sit on and watch the world go by. Jasper can't jump up that high, lol...

The windowsills in this house are not wide enough either, hence the shelves being put under/next to them....just put brackets underneath and they hold up fine. Max doesn't jump much either, not anymore.

Mine are all a bit on the hefty size, they all pick on each other except for Max....like kids in the backseat of the car with 'Mom he/she is breathing on me' and such!
