Happy Caturday Night! I am already done with my bubble bath and in my jammies. I am wrapped up in my blankie with Betty on my lap. What a great night for snuggles. The kitties have a full grill of steak, ribs, burgers, bratwurst, hot dogs and kabobs. There are baked potatoes, salad and delicious desserts on the buffet. The fountains are flowing as is the hot cocoa maker! We have marshmallows for the cocoa too. Come snuggle a kitty and get some good food to warm you up this cold autumn night. We are expecting snow flurries tonite and temps in the 20s. Brrrrrrr..........

Hi MC...I'm sooo glad Wilma is on the mend & that her & Betty are getting reaquainted w/each other. I don't have time to stay. I'm feeding all the kits alittle early this evening. I'm having to also set up my humane trap. There are a couple of racoons that don't know it yet but, they're going down & out of this neighborhood tonight. One of the buggers took off w/my newly hung fly trap (it cost me $5). Took the tie & all. I've been told by a neighbor & his son my Hissy has been seen by them. Anyways...I'm sucking down white wine to calm me. I can see it now. Me in camoflage trying to catch racoons like Bill Murray in Caddyshack.
Hmmmmmm. I do have a couple of M-80's packed away somewhere....Have a nice snuggle w/the kits tonight MC. -

Evening all! I'm back home again. Was nice to vist with Mum and MS and see Airy and Meegz but there's no place like home - with the piles of washing, the grocery shopping needing to be done and a sick husband! LOL! Ringo was so glad to have me home he brought a present into the bedroom in the small hours - a live bird that was screaming its head off. He ran off with it with MrKK in hot pursuit. He managed to corner him on the patio and a convenient bowl of water was tipped over Ringo's head to make him release the bird. MrKK then took it away to release but I think it had a damaged wing and may not survive. Ringo and Dara were most annoyed we took the 'toy' away!

I did my grocery "jaunt" today, thus the nice casserole! :)
just gave both girls their treats - Abbers gets the soft/moist Whisker lickins, and Cuddles gets her baby food meat!..... happy girls, happy momma...
.... talked to both children - Son in LSU for the UF/LSU game (go gators)... Daughter at her sorority house, initiation night..... Hubbs watching game too... just checking in!

i am starting to feel mellow since getting all that stuff about the upstairs neighbor and his dog off my chest. i've done nothing today except read, play on the computer, and feed Spice. she is doing very well, thank you. it is now exactly 4 weeks after Velvet was PTS. I am still sad, but doing much better than 4 weeks ago. I have found Spice to be a good companion. she does not get up off the bed in the morning until I do. i will start changing my sleep/awage patterns starting tomorrow morning by getting up at 7 am.

... Cheri!... I'm thinking Spice is missing Velvet too, and sticks to you for comfort.... Abby is my constant little companion, and follows me from room to room..... she too won't get off the bed in the morning till I get up!.... kitties seem to atune themselves to our schedules!... so sweet!

OMG...there's been a Hissy sighting by my very own eyes!! I don't know if she'd eaten anything before I saw her,but,she was lapping up the Catsip milk she's always enjoyed. I do think she ate some kibble tho. It was way down. That few bucks I gave the neighbor boy was money well spent. I think he got her to come out of the brush(so-to-speak) & come home. Before I had a chance to see what kind of shape she was in...she took off (spooked by something) like a bat out of he**. All I know is...I'm half-crocked from the glass & a half of white wine I've drank & I'm on a somewhat(drunkin) mission to rid this park of some fly trap stealing racoons. This is a crimewatch neighborhood that they won't want to stay in.

i have just taken my "nice" pill - aka vicodin and am sitting down with a cold glass of milk. i realize i could do with a nice angus ribeye, medium rare, a baked potato with cheese, a plate of shrawberries covered in melted milk chocolate, and a purry furry. may i have these sent to me from the TDK NS Cafe ? I will give the deliverer a handsome tip of pounce treats !!!

Evening, Everyone! Wow, it was sort of a long day here with the AirSho. Let's see... we fought Pearl Harbor, the battle of Midway and the Coral Sea, rescued a downed pilot in Vietnam and had multiple demonstrations by the fighter jets of today which translates as really loud but impressive. It was such a strange day here. It started off really cold and misty then gradually got warmer but never enough to be really comfortably warm. But the skies did turn a bright West Texas blue and all in all, it was a great day to be outside at an airshow.
Still, I am tuckered!
