  1. I just watched 'Marley & Me' and bawled little a big baby! Sobbed is more like it. . .

  2. I haven't seen that movie yet. I'll remember to have a box of tissues nearby. :)

  3. I missed the first 45 minutes of it and couldn't stop watching it once I noticed it was on. Wanda Sykes is on now :)

Judge--are double paned windows the same as double hung windows?

  4. Have a great evening, everyone! It's off to bed with me. There's something about sitting outside for six hours that just tires me out. Not to mention all of the bombs and stuff!

  5. FH, I was referring to insulated windows. Maybe that's the better term. There are two panes of glass that have a little space in between that has some sort of gas in it. It is supposed to reduce heat loss in Winter.

Goodnight, WWM. I hope you don't have dreams of air raids. ;)

  7. OK, KW--my parents just had double-hung windows put onto their house and they're gorgeous! I'm getting double-paned windows on my house--hopefully, they'll keep my A.C. bills under $200.00 this summer :)

Evenin', AV---sounds like a typical busy weekend for you!

  11. MS peeks into the NS office quietly, kitties all dreaming of unlimited meat and kibble and slow mice.
We had a beautiful sunny day here, but with a cold breeze. I can almost smell summer now. Airy is off to work in the morning after a 90+ minute drive. Time for me to check the back posts then head off to bed. HRH Shadz is sleeping soundly on Mr MS's chair, she loves him tonight as he was off fishing today and she assisted him in filleting the fish for dinner this evening and got some offcuts for her trouble.

  12. It's midnight here in NZ, ...the night is cool in NZ and cool to chilly in USA ..... so time to close Night Shift and snuggle under the comforters, so here goes...good job everyone & bless you...

    check - turns fountains off
check - sweep the floor (never know who has been tossing stuff around)
check - lights off and turns out neon "TDK Night-Shift" and "Poetry Jam" sign in window
check - night lights glowing gently, puts on cool jazz radio for ambiance and stragglers check - cat flaps swings creeeeeeeek (pulls out WD-40), check cat flaps again to ensure they swing quietly and effortlessly
check - doors closed, left just ajar so fuzzbutts don't come to us with complaints
check - dry kibble out as a midnight snack (so hopefully no 5 am breakfast wake-up call) and freshens litter-box. Puts away assorted fuzzy, squeaky cat-toys into Toy-Box

check - windows slightly open for Northern TDKers' spring and closed for Southern TDKers' autumn.

Goodnight to all our imaginary friends in TDK land, Goodnight Jim-man. White light, healing energy and prayer for all those in need. Be careful out there! Bless all those whom have left before us, please watch over us >^..^<

  13. Oh, there is nothing like the love of a kitty for the one who has given her treats...

Evening, MS, I'm doing the same, checking the back posts then off to bed. It was a beautiful day here too but alas I was working all day. I could hear the sound of lawnmowers starting up all over the neighbourhood...

  14. I could hear the sound of Fords and Holdens racing whenever I got a moment to watch Bathurst. I'm a bit of a petrolhead when it comes to Bathurst. I had a wager with the future SIL that Ford would win, alas I lost horribly, only 1 Ford in the top 10. Luckily we didn't have anything bet on it other than honour, He's not going to forget this win in a hurry either and is sending me cheeky txts. I'll get him back though.

  15. OMGosh, I forgot you were a petrolhead. Hope you enjoyed what you saw of Bathurst, even if you lost the bet. Is it finished now? You can probably tell, I don't know anything about motor-racing...
