   I can't believe this poor little thing was stuck in a storm drain for a month - and people knew it was there!! Argh! Happy ending, though, and cute kitty.

   Poor wee one! I'm so glad the baby was rescued and adopted to a loving home so quickly. Would that ALL homeless kitties had stories with such happy endings.

   Thanks Kilroy...I watched this unfold live on our morning news. The station started a 'Name the Kitty' segment. I wish they had a video of it. You could really see the desperation in the firefighters wanting to save this tiny one. It was the only high point to my day yesterday to see the kitty scooped up out of that sludge & mess of a sewer.

   Aww, it was about time...we should put ourselves in the animal's place/then things would probably get done quicker and abuse hopefully wouldn't happen!

   I agree SM...Shame on those who waited as long as they did!!! Grrrr! Thank God she now has a loving home to go to. =)
